My understanding was it Went bust. Landlords kept putting up the rent until it was no longer viable. Thomson's wanted it and it's now a family hotel. There was a second option in Lanzarote but the money from backers wasnt enough or forthcoming. No doubt there will be other accounts of events and quite a few people lost bookings and money |

It's a big place, must've been difficult to keep traffic coming in to cover the rising rent
There goes the plans of going so

Funny enough i was there a few days ago - well at the site - it is now Aqua apartments . I had a look round - a very nice set up but obviously without the 'Spicey' bits. It struck me how big it was ie how much capacity - must have been hard to keep getting maximum numbers - and a quarter full would just not work..
We met the managers? in Cap d Agde who were advertising there - really wish i had been able to go |
