Hi All. I have recently rented a place in Spain and really want to start learning the language as I can see myself going over back and forth regularly. I have some basics but has anybody any tips on how to improve my Spanish? Apps, tapes etc. Apologies if this thread has been done before or very recently. |

Duolingo is free and a decent app for vocabulary although not so great for grammar.
Look online for Language Transfer. It's a very non academic way of learning the language and there are 90 lessons of approximately 10 minutes each.
We've found it really good.
Good luck |

If you Google Spanish, there are several free sites to learn from. I talk to hotel staff and pick up phrases. Good way to learn, as it is more informal and colloquial |
