Hello
Anyone got 1st hand experience of The pub Bude 4 in the Sandi shopping centre? Very close to 2x2.
Looks interesting however most of the info online and the YouTube videos are in German. Can use Google translate for the website etc but translation of videos would be good. Any German speakers able to provide a summary?

I can't translate the promo video for you but my impression of it goes like this.

I love this! It is so true. We only went in once, yes everyone was German, as is the host. Now we have several German friends, who we see in PDI, but she really didn't want us there, wish she'd said, before we spent €32, on 4 drinks. If you go into 2x2, you would get 4drinks for€14 , in happy hour   |

Stay away from the place!
I went there last December with a couple and she didn't make us feel welcome and ripped us off with drink charges and if she was a top porn star then I'm johnny Holmes...she's horrible!  |

Yes we felt ripped off, she charged us more than was on the drinks menu. She may have been a top porn star, but I think it must have been many years ago. Anyway, we would never return there again, but think you'd be ok, if you spoke German to her! |

Our experience was a contrast.
Yes it was definitely a German bar.
Nevertheless we found the lady who ran it very warm and friendly. She spoke to us with little English and we reciprocated with Little German.
She’s definitely self indulgent with a lot of pics of herself and bude4 branding. But what we would say is that the place is immaculate, the cleanest toilets that even put liberty elite in second place.
It’s the swinging showhome.
A €10 minimum spend. We went in at 21:30 for a quick drink before heading to 2x2. So definitely worth using as a quick pitstop. |
