Is benidorm in may busy?

Im heading out there with a group of men and women in may, i was wondering what it is like out there that time of year?
Last year we went out in August, it was busy there was no party atmosphere. Is it different in may or will it just be the same?
I am asking on here as it seems that there are a few who live out there who could help.

Absolutely. 
Far too many Brits miss out on what the old town has to offer.
Some great little bars and the Tapas bars are bloody wonderful. |

New town
But mix it with the old town a few nights
Stayed in the old town twice last year and some great bars
And eateries there

We always go about the third week in May, it's not too busy- apart from weekends- but busy enough. Agree about the Old Town, especially The Queens, but get there early if you want a seat |

Will be fab. If your in the old town during the day try Queens hotel on the food terrace x"
I'M staying in the queens again 4th to 10th april then 1st week in may,so if you see me sat on my own or with 2tgirls cum say hi. |

Thanks for the replies and messages. Had more messages then i thought would occur.
Its almost here so hopefully i get a chance to meet most of the people ive spoken to.
Tikki beach will be the place to be on friday day. See you all then |
