We tend to avoid Spanish clubs at the weekends mainly because of the late start and even later (4/5 am) finish.
These days we like Jardin del Eden especially on the Wednesday afternoon/evenings. While it's nothing like as busy as the weekends there is usually enough going on.
We will almost certainly be there next Wednesday 14th.
Cupido is quite good as well and do a similar thing on a Wednesday but we prefer the Jardin. |

We agree re the Garden.Been to Aditi once but found it too young for us and more like a nightclub. |

There are a few but I think you will find that a regular taxi would be the better bet.
I just googled it and got a couple of prices, both were over 40€ each way.
Play San Juan isn't that far from the airport and I think a normal taxi would be much less.
It's a while since I looked but there used to be a price list next to the taxi rank showing the prices of the popular destinations. I'm pretty sure it will still be there. |

If you are staying in San Juan you are just down the road from Cabo del las Huertas nude beach. If you look out to sea from San Juan the beach to your right goes down to a rocky headland with a small lighthouse. If you walk around that headland there are small coves where anything goes. If you walk right around there is a small beach and rocks. This area and the coves is very popular with nudists. We will be there this weekend, |

Watch out for the add ons and the petrol scam. They are well known for both.
After saying that, from a base of 19€ you should still be well in front whatever they do. |

Check it out via Moneysupermarket, car hire, Alicante airport. Make sure you do it by credit card and not by debit card. I have never taken out the extra insurance which is expensive and steer clear of Goldcar.

Economy car for one week 23/9-30/9 from £68. You will have to pay for a tank full of petrol and will not get any refund on what is left in the tank. I believe for less than 3 days you can take it back with a full tank but its been a while since I hired a car |

Always book Full to Full option on fuel so you only pay for what you use! You can buy an annual car hire excess policy through Internet for £30 odd so don't need their insurance!
Had some real bargains! And useful to have whilst you are here to travel to clubs and to meet people! |

That's sound car hire advice and exactly what I do. DYS are always good. They take a lot of flack from people who don't know how the car hire business works in Spain. I have found them almost always the cheapest and if you do every have problems they are good at sorting them out.
Just one thing. By following the above instructions you will refuse the car rental companies policy but they still need to block the amount of the cars excess on a credit card - typically £800 - 1k. You return the car without any damage and you get the block released. |

San Juan is on the tramline between Alicante and Benidorm. There are also buses serving the area as it is a very popular spot. |

With DYS you can regularly check prices and if it gets cheaper you can cancel and re-book at lower rate. Have done this often. Prices fluctuate on a daily basis! We normally select on airport for convenience but off airport have been fine too! |
