"with a mind to visiting ...
when would be the best months to visit ??? "
Over the years we have visited most months, always staying at La Mirage.
October/November are the busiest by far as others have said, with a large proportion of people coming from Scandanavia and other parts of Europe.
February/March is also busy, although weather wise it can be "indifferent" with evenings being cool.
This year for the first time we went in June, mainly wanting a relaxing time with lots of sun. It was quiet, La Mirage was probably 50% full and the bars and clubs at night were quiet, but despite this we had as much fun with other couples (and ten hours of baking sunshine) as we have ever had when visiting GC.
Therefore in our opinion it's not how many people are there or how busy the bars and clubs are its all about the attitude of the people who are there at the same time as you, as we discovered in June

To add to our above post, we did find that in June the age range of couples were considerably lower than at the "busier" times of year. October/November sees the majority of people being 40+ in June that dropped to 20+.
I don't think we (or anyone else in La Mirage at the time) will ever forget the gorgeous young Italian couple who used to put on a daily XXXrated live porn show on around the pool.
We will go to our graves happier people having had the pleasure of witnessing such a fine performance! |

The booking arrangements have been amended at La Mirage to make booking "fairer".
Now you can only book a maximum of 10 months in advance of the dates you wish to go. This is done on a 1st come basis to prevent people booking 12 months in advance ( Oct 2016 was fully booked in Oct 2015!).
Also, should you wish to book why not consider booking through Skujato (username on Fab) which will save you 7% off the price off the La Mirage website price. Booking with them is excatly the same as if booking direct with La Mirage, ie pay on arrival.
They have full access to the La Mirage booking system and will answer you promptly should you ask about any dates.

Don't think you can fail to have fun there whenever you go! Apparently la mirage is full on and doesn't suit all. Not been there though but there is so much going on in the clubs then staying there may not be necessary? Especially if it's difficult to get in when you want to. |
