Venus Resort Review May 2016

Hey guys, I haven’t seen much on this report on here other than a few lines here or there, along with some information that isn’t in the least bit accurate. We stayed there for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago while on holiday and we thought we’d share our honest and impartial view on the place, both good and bad!

THE STAY & FIRST IMPRESSIONS

We stayed from Friday until Tuesday. Unfortunately the taxi driver had no idea where the resort was, and luckily we had google maps to hand. If you’re on holiday without data it might be wise screenshotting google maps while you have wifi. It’ll be a lifesaver.

The complex is 12 bungalows laid out in a square with a pool, bar, sunloungers, and a few outdoor four poster bed style beds in the middle. It was very quiet and laid back, with only two other couples sunbathing when we arrived. We were shown to our bungalow and had time to set our stuff down before going to the bar in order to complete check in.

Our first impression of the apartment was great. It was clean, new furnishings, and really nicely laid out. The main room had patio doors at each end, which could be opened to allow a breeze through the room. Handy for those warm days! The bedroom had two single beds pushed together with quite hard sheets that we just slept on top of as it was quite warm nights. The mirror on the ceiling was absolutely fantastic when we were fucking. A good tip: there is a remote in the bedside table that turns on a changeable coloured light at the ceiling mirror. The bathroom is nice enough, nothing special, and our shower floor sealant was a little mouldy. One thing I would mention is that the shower seems to have two settings: Arctic chill and molten lava. The slightest of touches will swing it to one of these two settings.

The complex itself has a massage area, some places for outdoor play, a downstairs playroom and the aforementioned pool/bar etc. It was all clean and nice with plenty of places both in plain view and secluded for playing.

Everyone we encountered was very friendly, and almost exclusively German. We were actually surprised to find not a lot of Spanish couples or staff, but our German is slightly better than our Spanish so it suited us!

THE SUNDAY BBQ

We’d been chatting to a couple who lived near us that were in Gran Canaria at the same time, so the BBQ was a perfect time to invite them over and get to know them. The BBQ started around 2pm and we sat and chilled at the bar with the other couple. This was much, much busier than the rest of the days we spent at the resort. Maybe 30 or more people? The age and gender range was evenly spread too, which was nice. We can’t comment much on the food as we didn’t really eat much but the drinks were great and all included in the price. We very briefly seen/heard other people playing but nothing full on in our view. That didn’t deter us from jumping up on one of the big outdoor four poster beds and having a great time. I managed to glance at a woman sitting on a sun lounger masturbating while she watched us, which was such a turn on. We really wish more people had played/joined in but it seems everyone is too polite to ask. I guess this is just our luck with the guests that were there.

WRAP UP

The Good:

- We loved the bungalow. It was modernly decorated, comfy, peaceful and a great place to stay while on holiday.

- The Sunday BBQ was popular with a good spread of people of all ages/genders.

- The peace and quiet. Sunbathing during the day was really great. Words can’t do the scenery, and atmosphere justice.

- The staff were really friendly

- The location! We just walked it to the Cita/Yumbo centres. Granted it was about an hour walk but we took advantage of the nice weather, what with it always raining here in Scotland!

- The other guests were great, we didn’t interact with many due to the language barrier but everyone was friendly.

The Bad:

- The Bugs. After our first night we had to use the provided bug spray to kill 2 adult cockroaches and at least 10 baby ones. After this we made sure to spray every doorway, window and dark corner.

- The pool had a few small bugs floating on the surface and wasn’t as clean as the other places we stayed at while in Gran Canaria. The pool wasn’t heated either, and the whirlpool caused quite a pull when lying floating, so you couldn’t really lie and relax in the pool. It was too small to swim for exercise either, but hey, it was great for cooling down!

- The food. Note that the food itself was fine, but we didn’t appreciate the guy smoking while putting our chips in the fryer or preparing our other food. We have no trouble with people around smoking, but not while cooking food please. There also wasn't a great selection so it's better eating out.

- Our initial impressions of the masseurs wasn’t great. We found them a little rude, sniggering while we got a couples massage, whispering to each other, and the male masseur got very very close to actually massaging my pussy. I had kept my underwear on as a clear sign this wasn’t welcome, but he actually went right up to my thong and slightly under. If he went half an inch further I would’ve completely stopped the massage and complained.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to get in touch! We’d definitely go back there to stay, and hopefully for longer next time!
