I stayed in tamaran apartments with a friend in September, self catering apartment. Its about 200yds from the cita centre. It was nice and basic, nothing plush. Cleaners came in every day. We could see the cita centre from our balcony.

There are a couple of supermarkets opposite selling all your need for a self catering holiday.

It is quite a way from the beach. The best way to get to Kiosk 4 from there is to get a €5 taxi to maspalomas lighthouse.

If your main priority is the swinging clubs and require somewhere to get ready to go out and get your head down it's ideal
