The more you pay, "the better". In Spain, the cheaper always hide big gap of costumer service.

Cicar is the "premium rental"

But of course, you have Sixt, Europcar, etc...

Autoreisen is the most trusted and the price is correct.

Goldcar is cheaper. But lacks everything else. I have lost wallets and bags in their cars when I gave it back. So you can imagine...

Autoreisen every day of the week and twice on a Sunday. Would never use anyone else.

Price you see is what you pay. No big deposits or security on your CC

Who’s fault was that lost wallets and bags in their cars 🤷‍♂️

Certainly not there’s

It’s your responsibility to look after your own belongings and take them out on return

Cicar is easily the best. Usually ten or fifteen pounds more but no extras to pay and no grief. Check the trustpilot reviews. You get full insurance cover every time and they don't care about dents and scratches.

You see, @Goldbymar?

Every company is supposed to check the car after return. To make sure that you gave back the car in good conditions.

This said. If you or any of the travelers left or missed something... For God sake; why not calling you back? Otherwise, that's a Theft!!

We use CICar, never had an issue

I, Ms EdenGC, can only drive automatic and they have a good fleet of autos, but shop around

They check the lot and you choose who you think is best.

Been using them for years and they do other countries as well.

Get regular email from them.

We always use "Autoreisen" (as do many others by the look of it). Easy to book online, now extras, good vale, modern cars.

Never had any issues, would highly recommend them.

Used nearly all of them, can’t say we’ve noticed any difference in service between any of the companies.

The only problems we’ve had has been under inflated tyres ( all of them) and a puncture, all on pick up!

We just go for the cheapest now via !Martin Lewis… in April we had a car for two weeks for £56… ok it was a small Fiat but was almost half the cost of the taxi from the airport and that’s for two weeks….

Checked this morning and the best rate from the airport with all the bells and whistles was £208.

Stevenage not in Gran Canaria

I use to do Autoraisen but the last 2 times used Goldcar through Discover cars with separate insurance. Very cheap and no issues at all, a T-roc for 12 days for £55. Last time the queue for Goldcar was nil, and the Ciciar one was an hour.

I have used Autoreisen in Gran Canaria for years and have always been happy with them.

However they are closing their office in the terminal in November and opening a new one outside the airport. According to a staff member I spoke to this week (I am currently out in GC) they plan to run a shuttle service for their cutomers between the airport and the new office.

That would concern me as adding time and inconvenience when flying home could mean having to hire from someone else who is based at the airport
