Whats the cost of a taxi from the airport to pdi roughly? We are landing about 5.30pm and would rather get to the resort rather than run around by bus. Thanks xx

anywhere between 45-60 euros...I'm just looking at private transfers now and the shuttle bus is the cheapest

Stevenage not in Gran Canaria

Look at hire car prices as an alternative, very cheap with separate 3rd party excess cover.

We paid 52Euro for a taxi later at night (about 10:30) but only because our flight was delayed.

otherwise it would have been a public bus for 3.50 each which does the trip in around 30 minutes and passes all the major hotels

You can book your transfer with travel republic ,i have done many times ,£16 return, its good but if you wsnt want to get to pdi within 30_mins then a taxi is best ,only when on return journey i get taxi about 2 hours before flight giving you still 90 mins at airport plenty time even if you have to check in , ive only hand luggage so within entering airport turn left down to security and hey presto thru in 5_mins ,done it 3 times this Year ,if you get transfer to airport you get there about 3_to4 hours before flight ,

There's regular busses (every 1/2 hour or less) from the airport to PDI, express takes about 35 minutes, normal takes 50 minutes and it's about €3.50 each.

All bus routes and times are on Google maps but double check the times on the Global app

Just dont use the travel company bus as it can take up to 2 hours by the time it leaves and does the rounds

Private taxi transfer normally costs us €50 approximately. Booking a taxi through booking.com or love holidays is slightly cheaper at around €44.

We’d recommend using the regular global bus service rather than the bus service offered by travel companies. We once spent 2 and a half hours on a transfer from PDI to the airport using love holidays. The transfer cost is approximately €15 while global bus would have been 45 mins and €7.

As above. The time you mess on waiting for organised transfer can be a nightmare. Our last transfer took two and half hours. Never again. Bus stop outside airport. That's what we are using next time. Its only 20kms to PDI.Transfer can be a headache.

Period.

It never worth pay more. All Taxis would try to scam you more money. And Private transfers are overpriced.

On the other hand, rent a car and enjoy your journey. It can cost you €15/30 per day. It really worth it. Even if you never use it.

Contact the hotel and see if they have a transfer company.

That's what we did twice and got dropped off at hotel door.

€50

We take the public bus now.

Very Handy And only €7 for the 2 of us.

They do run late into the evening/night as you’ll see them whizzing around past the yumbo and that junction down from Gold….pretty sure they do but someone will confirm I’m sure’

You might have to go via the bus station in las Palmas but they run most of the night

I THINK it is the 1 and the 5 that run throughout the night ... well one of them does...the other stops at around midnight.

Of the evening/night they change their route so they run past yumbo and cita.

Downside is that the take around 45-50 minutes to PDI

As ive said before if your not in a big hurry to get to your destination then cheapest is Travel Republic ,think its now £16 pound return ,but hey the buses are very good if there is a stop near your hotel/App x

Yes, the #1 runs 24h. But I would not recommend it at all. It can take like 2h to get anywhere lol
