Corralejo, Fuerteventra December.
Jump to: Newest in thread
We've just booked 10 days in Corralejo, returning just before Christmas and can't wait.
Car hire sorted for a few day trips to Corralejo Sand dunes, El Cotillo and Cofete Beaches (hopefully warm enough to strip down, if not, just to enjoy the scenery).
Already visited Betancuria and Pajara (both lovely, so may visit again via Antigua for breakfast as it was a lovely drive).
But wondering if anyone can suggest any other places to visit and spend a few hours or things to do, while driving around the Island, specifically down to Cofete?
Also any friendly people watching bars in Corralejo of a day/night or restaurants not to be missed (and those to avoid at all costs)
Thanks in advance 😉 |

Have you visited ajuy caves ? "Also any friendly people watching bars in Corralejo of a day/night or restaurants not to be missed (and those to avoid at all costs)"
For people watching bars like main street, blue rock, Maise, all on main walkways so great to watch the world go by.. for me stay away from the bars along the street to wikiki.. |

We'll be in El Cotillo home all December and January and welcome any genuine swinging couples and females to make contact.
Recommend Weirdo's Bar in Corralejo for a fun quiz night.....the challenge is to find it! |

Christmas & Tag is in RED TIGHTS !!! |
"Thanks, see it's just around the corner from Bar Bouganville.
How can you not be slightly interested in a quiz night at a place called Weirdos Elephant Bar 😆"
Travel 2,498.2 miles to have a quiz night? Each to their own, I guess. Now if it was Bingo! - I wouldn't do that either lol. Happy Holiday. |

Lmao..... we're not going for the quiz night you know (although if it's on when we get there we may give it a go)
We just like fun, quirky bars and interesting people
Thanks, sure we'll have a great time exploring the island and chilling out in Corralejo |

"Booked from the 7th-14th, fingers crossed for some sunshine, looking forward to exploring the island, nude beaches, good food and drink… 1st visit.
Curious, what’s wrong with wikiki? "
It's dull lol and every time we have been the service has been terrible. |

We have just booked Alua Suites in Corralejo for £600 each in January, BA holidays the only extra was the transfer. It is quite a good hotel and all inclusive we found the food quite good, there is a nice beach bar opposite which has live bands and it is a 20 min walk into town on the beaches. We love the chill vibe in town. Not bothering with a car, just staying put and taking advantage of the AI.

We had one our best nights at a bar called Coyote Bar(think that's the name)on the front of the little cove area in El Cotillo.
The night sort of ended when there was a power cut and we walked back to apartment in pitch darkness with phones as torches.
Brilliant night, met some great Fabbers using who's near function.
In Correlejo we just arranged to meet people in the many bars at the bottom end of strip, closest to harbour.
Love the place.
We try to have a stay in Gran Canaria, fly over to Fuertuventura and then a boat over to Lanzarote and fly home from there.
Have a great time. |

We looked at that hotel too, looks great and that's a fantastic deal.
Sure you'll love it and easy enough to get out to the bars and restaurants if you need a change.
Enjoy guys |

Thanks and sure we popped into the Coyote bar for a few drinks last time we visited El Cotillo.
Looking forward to getting back.
We'll no doubt use the who's near function ourselves when we arrive and will be in the strip behind music square most nights at our favourite bar (but also given a few more to try along that strip too).
Sounds like a great trip between the 3 islands, fancy doing that ourselves x |

"Not December, but October for us.
Back in Corralejo, our sexy happy place from 03rd to 15th
Nice, where are your sexy places in Corralejo?
"
There aren't any. Fuerteventura is too laid back for PDI-like activity. |

"Our villa has a very private pool, a private roof terrace and hot tub.
This is where we call our sexy happy place.
Use 'see who's near' and occasionally invite a 'friend' over for fun in the sun "
Exactly! You make your own fun! |

We love the beach in El Cotillo but find the town difficult to navigate, doesn’t seem to be a Main Street or much going on? So we stay In Corralejo and drive over for the beach or go to the dunes outside of Corralejo |

There are two ways to enjoy the North of Fuerteventura… On one hand Cotillo… a nice quiet relaxing village with a few bars and restaurants and amazing lagoons or hidden beaches.
On the other hand Corralejo… not as quiet, full of restaurants and bars, pretty nice night life and just 10 minutes drive to the beautiful golden sand dunes.
Both ways are quite nice but a bit different. And just about 20 minutes drive far each other.
