We are in Benidorm again next month, having tried the nudist beach next to Benidorm last year and not been too impressed we would like to know if there are any others local, we will be hiring a car so within 15 mins would be fab, maybe somewhere we can have a bit of fun if allowed |

We live locally, there is a few around the area. One is about 15 mins from Beni and mainly used by locals of varying ages and then there is another one which is much bigger about 40 mins away, again varying ages on there and lots of people, lots of sand dunes and you do see people heading off in to them... Check out our pics to see, both much nicer than the one at Benidorm so worth a drive. Message us if you want directions. |

With a car you could drive down to Playa Els Tossals between Guardamar and La Marina. Around 45 minutes from Benidorm. If you want directions PM us.
Long sandy naturist beach with extensive dunes/woods behind for some fun.
First 2 pics on our profile were taken there. |

Yes, busier. The parking in Gandia is about half the size as in Guardamar and in Guardamar are 2 of them. Mind you, the beach itself might be the same size but the area behind the beach itself in Guardamar (shrubs, forests, dunes) is much bigger. Also prettier. However, much depends on the time of the year. |

From Benidorm take the motorway and head to Alicante airport.
At the airport follow signs for N332 El Altet & Santa Pola.
Follow the road past Santa Pola heading south towards Guardamar & Torrevieja.
You will pass through the Santa Pola salt lakes then the road goes uphill (Ignore La Marina sign at this point) The road levels off briefly then it's downhill until you come to a roundabout (Aldi)
At this roundabout you double back on yourself but stay in the nearside (right) lane. This lane becomes a slip road signed to La Marina Playas.
Stay on it for around 500 mtrs and you will see the La Marina resort and Campsite on your right.
Turn down the side of the campsite and you will see a car park on your left.
Park up (it's free) and take the pedestrianised road down to the beach.
At the beach turn right and the naturist section starts after 100 mtrs or so.
Total drive time from Benidorm around 45 minutes. Walk to beach 15/20 minutes.
If you look on Googlemaps it is called Los Tossales. El Robollo is the adjacent textile beach. |

This is a perfect description!
If you keep this in a note pad you can copy/paste it the next time.
We don't agree with the 45 minutes though, if you respect the speed limits it's at least an hour and in the summer months the road from the airport to the roundabout (where you'll see the Aldi, Lidl and a large Chinese) can get rather clogged up. |

I've never actually timed it from Benidorm.
I just based it on that it takes us around 1hr.15 minutes to Benidorm and 25/30 minutes to the beach which is on route.
Next time I drive up to Benidorm I'll time it from the roundabout.
To be fair, every drive is a bit longer in July/August. |
