I know this hotel is popular even though it’s not a swingers hotel, so what makes it so special for swingers? We are off to PDI in June and found a great deal to stay here for a week so just wondering if it’s worth it x |

Yeah….I think the poster was saying ‘the location makes it a great spot’…..which it does as handy walking for Cita, Yumbo and beach snd s good supermarket close by.
We think it’s a great adult hotel, chilled vibe, trendy attentive staff and as a result attracts a lifestyle crowd so plenty of folk to chat to. Some people don’t like the urban location but there’s plenty of forum posts on Gold of the pros and cons….pricey at peak periods but def a go-to PDI spot for us if we can get it. |

we stopped at Gold on our last visit, attentive friendly staff, rooms were great, even free drink on arrival and frozen shots by the pool. Pineapple picture in the room and upside down pineapple on the welcome card in the room its almost like they know their clientele 
walkable to Cita and most of the clubs as well although taxis on the island are cheap enough |

We've stayed twice. It's a very fresh, clean hotel. Staff are good but not over the top. Breakfast is brilliant. Great location too. Next to a supermarket and bars, 5min walk to both cita and Yumbo. 10/15mins to beach.
Rooms are nice, heated swimming pool.
It's just overall a very nice hotel. Also the guests are very quiet and chilled. Never any noise or loud behaviour.
There's lush rooftop terrace with a hot tub too. |

We turned the pineapple picture upside down in the frame! Felt very rebellious! |
