PDI Social Drinks - 23 MARCH

We are in PDI from the 21st-31st March and planning on getting a few friends together for afternoon drinks to kick start the holiday. We’ve done it before (often joining other socials) and it’s a good way to bump into folk (before you bump into them again and again each night in the bars/clubs).
Looks like we’ve picked up the baton on this social drink get together when the original hosts kick started this date but unfortunately they had to change travel plans.
The suggestions are an afternoon meet up over a few drinks in the afternoon sun at the TIPSY HAMMOCK around 2pm - 4pm on SATURDAY 23rd MARCH.
Nothing too organised…feel free to join us… get a few people together…chilled beers/cocktails …bit of chat between experienced PDI visitors and newbies..….and then hopefully know some friendly faces and new ideas for where to spend your evenings on your PDI adventure.

All we are doing is coordinating folk together in the same place at the same time….then letting the conversation and lifestyle magic flow!! It’ll be a fun way to put faces to names in the afternoon before bumping into people later that evening.
Hopefully we can grab a corner or a few tables at Tipsy Hammock…..someone suggested they might have upstairs available but we’ve never seen that open previously. |

We will def see you there (perhaps even on tne flight this time too!!)….it’s afternoon social drinks on the 23rd at Tipsy Hammock 2-4pm….early enough to soak up the sunshine but allow people to slip away to get ready for their club nights …or just continue on partying!! |

Numbers looking good for Saturdays social at Tipsy Hammock and they are clearing an area for us. Obviously people’s plans will change on the day but should be a good turn out regardless.
There are some addition details on a WhatsApp group if you are attending the social so please DM for the link if you’d like to join it, introduce yourself to the group and mingle….there’s also a poll to keep track of numbers.
Appreciate folk like to keep their chat all in one place - on the forums - so we will also post details on this thread and an updated attendance list later in the week xx

Looking forward to meeting people at the social get together - TIPSY HAMMOCK 2pm - 4pm on SATURDAY 23rd MARCH.
It’s just casual meeting up for afternoon drinks down the beach front to kick start the holiday, to bump into folk and see who’s about. Nothing too organised…feel free to pop along if you’re in the area and say hi and mingle.
Tipsy Hammock know there’s a (large!) group coming and have said the upstairs open air terrace area and bar (they take cash and card) will be available - a mix of seating and standing for about 50 people. Weather is looking a bit dodgy but will just see how it goes. Not sure if the area will be exclusively ours so if it fills up there might have to be ‘break away groups’ downstairs in the main bar area. Will have our location on and will drop updates on our status on the day.

Feel free to turn up…..it might be tight on space… it’s a public bar but we should have an area put aside. It’ll be a large gathering of fabbers in an afternoon so everyone should find a spot to chat!! |

Anyone in the area feel free to say hi….Tipsy upstairs bar and terrace. If it’s busy, fills up or weather changes we can look to move downstairs or elsewhere on sea front.
It’s a causal social drink and a chat so feel free to organise break away groups on the back of this….if everyone keeps posting location updates when they move bars there should be a good lifestyle presence along the whole sea front today!! |

Thanks again to all for attending….we met so many fantastic people and its been great to kick start the hols…..in PDI until the 31st so looking forward to running into sexy folk again over the coming week!! |
