Hi all. So we’re looking for a bit of advice. We posted a similar post in one of the other forums and were advised to post here.
We went to temptation resort in Cancun last year and had a great time and now we’re looking for a similar party/lifestyle friendly resort in Europe for this year (probably May).
A few people have mentioned PDI but we’re not sure what the scene is like there. From looking at some of the posts in the forum it seems that the majority of people heading there might be quite a bit older than us (we’re mid 30s)
So we’re just looking for any advice and suggestions of where would be a good option to go either in PDI or elsewhere in Europe.
In PDI is there much of a scene of couples in their 30s and is it busy enough in May? Is there anywhere else in Europe that matches that sort of demographic?

We've met quite a few couples in their 30s but don't forget only a very very small proportion of swingers in PDI are on fab.

Usually after March/April there is a steady decrease in the number of swingers due to an improvement in weather locally in the UK and also cap d'agde.
Last year was different because there were weren't as many visitors during March, possibly because of the Ukraine situation. These people seem to have postponed to later in the year so May was busier than normal.
So May is generally quiet but not completely dead. This is when people need to use "who's near" and get talking to each other and plan to get people on the island going to the same place rather than bar/club hopping to find out where everyone is.

Isn’t ‘Temptation’ a lifestyle resort?
PDI is a holiday resort that has ‘lifestyle’ friendly bars and clubs.
So on that basis your best bet is probably Venus Star which is a lifestyle resort in PDI.
Other Alternative - Cap D’Age in France.

We have been to PDI and Venus a number of times , October /November / December/ January/ March.
Always a bit of pot luck on how busy it is and who's there .
Venus is generally 40 years & older .
Cap d adge would probably be a better option if late may ... pool parties and nightlife on a different level |

We’ve been to temptation spa twice - once before the revamp and once after!
The earlier version was much better in our opinion
Compared to GC - there are a couple of resorts here that offer the same if not more than temptation !
La Mirage, Venus, Venus star are all full on daytime fun in your face so to speak!
Loads to do in GC daytime- lots of fun to be had on the beach or in the cinemas if the weathers dodgy!
Plenty of late nite/ early morning bars to have a dance and a damn sight cheaper than Cap!
If you can still get booked that is!

In our experience the only quiet months (lifestyle wise) are July and August. A few of the bars and clubs close these months as the resort is a little more family based. |
