Probably best to use booking or similar and if you like the place then get the owners details and contact directly in the future.
You're getting a good guarantee going through booking sites and it's not that much more expensive unless you're thinking of long term renting |

As the lovely couple above have suggested…. We tend to use Booking. Com or Air bnb
Spoilt for Choice for apartments or bungalows depending on requirements and budget. And double check location on google maps if unsure of distances to beach, Cita or Yumbo centres. |
