"Fairfx is usually the best rate and free delivery if you spend more than £700"
The free delivery is good but the exchange rate is higher with Wise. 1.123 with Fairfx, 1.149 with Wise. But you do have to pay a small charge. The exchange is pretty instant as well. |

A Revolut card is a useful tool to carry around. Change a very small amount to euros . Use the card for everything else. The exchange rate is very good with it . Pre load with an amount before going. Can top up while away if necessary. Then you're only left with a few euros in your pocket to waste at the airport on way home |

"Do people really change money? Don’t you just use your debit card as you would in the UK?
Haven’t changed money for many many years"
I live out there permanently so I transfer money across every month as I work for a UK based company. |

"We're going Gran Canaria Nye so need to know where's best to exchange some money."
If you want cash, it's almost certainly best to do it in this country. John Lewis and the Post Office allow you to order online and pick up locally, but can't say whether they're the best rates now - it varies so much from month to month. |
