So in no particular order
Before bar
The usual warm welcome and we met some lovely couples there and made some great new friends. Annette's pole dance was sexy and entertaining.
Secret
We went with another couple and had a fantastic sexy time on the Jacuzzi and on the 4 poster. Surprisingly the bar and dance floor was quiet but the play area was packed with naked writhing bodies.
Mario's Bar
Again we we went with a sexy couple and made really good use of the playrooms. Maybe a shower would be a welcome addition to the playroom ? Mario was friendly and welcoming.
Fun4All
After not going for our last few trips we went to see if anything had changed. Friendly bar staff and reasonable prices but we must have picked a quiet night.
Eden
We went Saturday and Monday and met up with some old friends and made some new ones, we almost always have the best sexy fun and this was no exception. Pretty much everyone ended up in the Jacuzzi and playrooms
Kiosk 7
The new chairs and umbrellas are a great addition, we met some old friends and again made some new ones who we got to have sexy fun with later in Eden. Very reasonable prices drinks considering it's a long walk from a another bars.
El Poncho
We had gorgeous well priced steaks with wine, always a winner for us.
Cafe Munchen - Cita
We had the schnitzel chips and beer for €8 which was tasty and great value of you want something quick and filling
Papis (AV de Tirijana)
Our first time and we were impressed, great quality food and reasonable prices only let down by the service as they forgot one of the mains and we had to wait quite a while after everyone else was finished. We will definitely return though.
A very special mention for the spar in Cita.
I had a bit of a head cold and couldn't get paracetamol on a Sunday but a beautiful young lady who works in the spar kindly gave me some from her own handbag. Unfortunately I couldn't find her before we returned home but I'll buy her some sweets next week.
A word of warning.
I went into the "pharmacy" beside Pepe Cheringos asked for paracetamol and she tried to charge me €10 for Paracet and also tried to sell me loads of herbal crap to "prevent" colds when I obviously already had one !! Proper Paracetamol from the clinic round the corner were €3 for 10 x 1g
Back on the 12/12 to try a few places we didn't get to.

Great review and Papi’s and El Poncho are our favourites. We made the mistake of running out of paracetamol a few trips ago! Blimey that was an expensive mistake !
Only 52 days till our next trip xx |

We were caught out like this on our first trip.
There does appear to be 2 sorts of Pharmacies on the island.
Properly licensed and staffed variety
and the 'holland and barret' herbal variety. Both use similar signage but one is only a retail herbal shop.
We try to use the one at the eastern side of the yumbo, top floor, next to the santander. The pharmacist speaks excellent english.
Another hint: If there is a medicine you think you might need, dont just take the sleeve of pills, take the box and show it to the pharmacist. It will have all the info on for him/her to find a local equivalent.
Another vote for el poncho just outside the cita.
Also on your radar should be El Chacho (mexican) in the yumbo (again near the santander). Large tasty portions and the staff are just great |

Fantastic summary and definitely concur.
Coincidentally, I went to this same pharmacy in November (seldom go to any pharmacy so very interesting of all the ones I went to, I went to the same one). I simply wanted some honey & lemon soothers (not to cure anything but a simple request). She tried to do exactly the same and oversell me beyond what I asked for.
Eventually listened and decided to append some weird herbal sweets, which I accepted just to get out of the place. The costs seemed a little on the high side, and did feel she was borderline rude.
I would say avoid. There’s plenty of options and this shouldn’t be one. |

Coincidentally Lizzie visited this pharmacist with our friend in April, only our third pharmacy experience (the first one was near the red cow, a good looking friendly Dominican, but is now closed).
They had a good experience here so can also endorse the place.
Great little tip. One to append to the 101 guide. |

Just to add our favourite places for food:
If you love a steak and a real treat then it has to be Savoy in Cita. The flambés are amazing. Lovely cosy restaurant inside and the guys there are really attentive.
If you prefer tapas style eating then it has to be Wapa Tapa, Carlos and Adrian have created something very special. Not your usual tapas dishes but an absolute must if you are in town. One piece of advice though, you cannot walk in for a table, you must book as it’s so popular. Suggest you book before you travel just to make sure you get in!

Strangely we always think of Wapa Tapa as fairly conventional tapas, but cooked to a high standard. We also like that they don't bring everything at once, so you get a more realistic tapas experience. They actually cook things in batches, so if for example you order black pudding (which you should) then you'll get it when they next cook a batch.
We tend to avoid places with "big portions", and prefer smaller places, so here's three that we also like:
If you like high quality pasta and sauces we'd recommend Kilometer 00 in the Cita centre. It's right next door to the Before bar.
Outside the centre, there's El Rustico which is more unusual tapas and Spanish dishes, and is near La Mirage.
Then there's also Samsara near the Maspalomas front, which would be worth visiting for the decor even if the (world) food wasn't so good. |
