We have been a good few times in January and sunbathed every day from about 10am until 4pm ish.
Cooler at night but being from Scotland it was still Tshirt weather and for T it was a dress with a light "cardigan" (that item of clothing sounds so geriatric haha)
We never had to wear jackets - we were on the beach most days and at the pool every day !
A genuine & honest detail of our experiences over 5 Januat breaks from the past 8 years !
Hope that helps xx |

At the height of summer you get over 300 hours of sunshine a month, while in January it's about 180. If the sun shines, then it's hot. If not then you can normally still sunbathe as long as you're somewhere very sheltered from the wind, and you're stubborn (or Scottish).
Expect to see the locals wearing puffa jackets in the evenings!
It so much depends what you're used to, and in any case it's going to be a LOT hotter than the UK, plus the days don't get as short as they do here. The light is amazing if you're coming from the UK in winter. |

"What's the weather generally like in PDI in the middle of January please?"
We went last year in February and locals said coldest for winter for years , weve been to canaries a few times January and February and always warm enough
Even last year we still sunbathed 90% of time got a decent tan , at most a thin layer at night |
