GC flights from Belfast

One for the Northern Irish, why do you reckon there are so few scheduled flights to GC from Belfast? Jet2 run year round but a maximum of 2 flights per week and recently with terrible flight times. Easyjet only do a limited Winter service, November to March. Jet2 tend to be expensive for flight only, as they double up with their holiday sales.

Dublin has a minimum 10 flights per week with Ryanair and Aer Lingus and we've never been on a flight with them that didn't have a significant number from the North on it. Yes, you can get better flight times out of Dublin but with travel and parking, it can add greatly to the costs.

Probably a lack of demand.

"Probably a lack of demand."

Indeed

The flight we just landed on was about 70% capacity even if November is the new October.

Belfast

Waiting for SleazyJet to announce their flights from belfast for winter (end Oct/Nov) 2024 to get more booked but suspect it’ll just be the 2 days a week again.

Might have to look at flights from Dublin but have AerLingus or Ryanair even got flights out for then yet?

Dundalk

Ryanair flights are out for October 24, Aer Lingus 330 days I think roughly 11 months forward is all
