Well we need to make a decision. Think we've whittled down to these two hotels. Caterina is £400 cheaper for the same duration. Yes we will be going down to Kiosk 7 to.

We’re just back from 7 nights in HL and have booked again for next October. It’ll be our 3rd year .. it’s a fantastic hotel .. it’s spotless , food amazing and great cocktails.. the naked sunbathing area on the roof is great with 2 hotubs .. highly recommend it

Found HB good too for HL Suites. Roof is fantastic facility. Hotel is really nice and clean as others said. Food is good but depends how much you want of food and drink to make AI worthwhile .

We’ve stayed at both in the last year. Marginally prefer HL due to the better quality of terrace with the jacuzzi, and it’s adult only unlike Catarina. But both are good. We go HB as generally the house wine is undrinkable and booze is so cheap in the supermarkets. Xx

We have done a few hotels in PDI over the years and our last 2 visits in the Caterina, we have booked for HL Suites for April 24, because we wanted an adults only hotel, going Hb as recommended, and reviews look fantastic, this could be our new stop for future visits in PDI.

It was good for us, but we were only starting off on our journey, so not really got anything to compare. Roof terrace was quite small. Heard they are changing it all next year.

Oh wow, I hope they don't! I have stayed there numerous times solo and with friends. I love the naked rooftop area, never crowded due to the well spaced out massive comfortable beds, shower and toilets handy. The other side with the jacuzzi and shaded seated area is great to pop to when needed

………….

We stayed in Abora Catarina last year and loved it that much we are going again December 1st for a week, we couldn’t fault it one bit and we’ve heard they have updated the roof top nudist area, 200 yards to cita centre

We stayed at Catarina last year, with Fab friends. We were on an adult only floor but that only means no family rooms, there were kids running up and down the corridor on a few occasions.

Room was great, staff excellent, food great and All Inclusive was well worth it BUT it is a huge hotel, it's also a family hotel and whilst we might consider going back, we'd prefer something Adult only. Our overall preference is still for Airbnb's

We stayed at the AC about a year ago. It was ok, but the food was pretty dire - fine if you care more about quantity than quality, but generally luke warm and tasteless. They were pretty obviously cutting every cost corner going.

But then that's generally been our experience at all inclusives, which is why we generally avoid them.

Stayed in both hotels and we would gladly pay £400 more to stay in HL, for us Catarina does not compare, but it is nearer cita centre but that’s the only bonus,

To clarify our comment, we said food was good but that's only in comparison to other All Inclusives. It's definitely not restaurant standard, we likened it to a cafeteria, as much down to the vast size of the dining area, as to the quality of the food. We thought overall, for what we paid, it was good value and were more put off by it being a family hotel and not adult only

Unlikely, but you never know till you try, or you could spend the day at Venus star
