Hello there
What’s the latest with the sand dunes?
Are they still off limits or are there just no go areas now?
Where do people go instead in the day for some fun if the Dunes are now off limits?
Please, I don’t want a debate on the flaura/fauna issues of the Dunes and your opinion on why you believe they should or shouldn’t be closed… I just want some idea of what it is like out there now

In January rangers were patrolling till about 130 then they finished for the day so you could go in the dunes then no where as busy as it used to be in fact I saw more stuff going on at the playa del ingles end |

We have also seen a fair bit of playing going on at hut 3 - playa d’ingles end!

We were over in September and dandered along the trail from the Riu Palace to kiosk 7, in the early afternoon and we weren't even out of sight of the Riu and there was a guy on top of one of the dunes jacking off, in full view of everyone. You could clearly see a few guys dotted about in the dunes. When we walked back, in the late afternoon, no exaggeration, there were easily dozens of guys walking about all over the dunes.
It was good to see kiosk 7 busy though but the number of guys about seems to exceed, by some margin, the number about pre covid when the dunes weren't policed. |

Been here a while and the dunes are very quiet. We’ve walked the path and not seen anything happening off piste. There are always a few meerkats behind kiosk 7 but not seeing a lot going on there even when the kiosk closes. |

Definitely worth a look as it gets a little “frisky “ by the rope barrier to the back of the beach!

We have just bought a pop up tent half price at b n q
Just a small thing easy get in a suitcase
We intend to use it with a couple of wind breakers at the back of the beach next to the ropes
Noticed a few had done this
That way I can watch my sexy wife having fun wile I keep look out
