North Cornwall

We have just done 10 days in PDI- loved it and probably will come back in April. The relaxed attitude to alternative lifestyles/ costs/ variety of clubs etc all amazing.

But- just out of interest are there any other hot holidays with a similar vibe we should consider?

somewhere

"What airport is closest to Cap D'Age?"

Bezier - Ryanair only - 35 mins taxi 30-40 euros and an hour or so by two buses to the naturist village

Montpellier - Easyjet and BA. 2-3 hrs by bus -train-taxi/bus or just over an hour by Uber and 120 euros each way.

There are a few other small airports Ryanair fly to but are 2-5 hours away.

The tricky part is coordinating the accommodation with the flights. Often Makes a huge difference to overall holiday costs.

At least. But worth it. GC will seem quite tame in comparison.

Would just add to the airport question that we've known people fly into Girona (Spain) then hire a car. It's about 2 hrs (ish) to Cap.

Would also add that it is a very short season. Realistically June to early September.

We’re regulars in pdi but wanted to try an alternative also and went to cap for a long weekend it June , what a place definitely makes pdi seem tame but it is Full on naturist village rather than a resort with swingers clubs .

Ryan air flights were very cheap accommodation can be expensive and lots booked up early season but we got a nice appt for good price .

Only downside with cap is it’s very expensive but worth every penny . We’re already planning a visit next season again but we’ve 2 visits to pdi before that to look forward too

There are literally thousands of places close to but not in the Cap. That are LESS £ than PDI . . . for example all of the destinations below have hundreds of places to stay . . . from campsites to villas to apartments to gîtes etc etc . . . with a car many thousands more within 5KMS . . .

Marseillan

Valras

Portiragnes

Serignan

Farinnete Plage

SETE

VIAS

MEZE

My family are native French and still live in Portiragnes.

Drive and stay in any - many are good for ad-hoc stays too.

Fly into Bézier and rent a car.

The Cap is the original and most well known of the European naturist quartier'š.

PS The Cap itself is quite small and is similar in many ways to Monaco and Nice in terms of it Elite feel around the Centre-ville. Prices are way off-the-scale shopping wise. But most are exclusive brand anyway. But once out of the centre prices are much lower.
