Non residents can buy a day pass. The reception are very hot on unauthorised guests!
We’re back for our third year and second in Gold. Land on Sunday…. Can’t wait! |

We looked into this to visit friends a couple of years ago! For a day visit for a couple it’s €120 !! Not worth it!
We have also started for a week last year and it’s just a normal hotel with a few like minded guests around
So wouldn’t pay that much to sit around a pool at gold as a day visit
Don’t get me wrong it’s a brilliant hotel
Very clean too but if your after a day visit I’d say Venus star resort is better value for money and a better experience we have found
our favourite hotel so far has to be
HL Suites hotel with a naked sun terrace
Gold is a close second but unfortunately no naked sun terrace
So unless you plan to meet someone
You’d never spot swingers at gold

Basically if you’re at gold it’s 80% you’re a swinger, 20% chance you’re a gay couple.
We much prefer gold because it’s not full on all the time. Much better to stay there and then do a day pass at Venus star or mirage. |

We arrive on Monday and are staying at the Riu palmaras next to the gold
It's sometimes difficult to get to meet people
Last year a couple were amazing and introduced us to everyone
It makes it so much nicer
We should all make the effort |

We are staying in Gold 2-7th of November. Have only heard good things about it so can't wait 
Any need to book a day-pass for Venus in advance? Stayed there last year but would like to do a day visit this year. |

I think you will find it’s just a normal hotel with maybe 30% been swingers
the rest of the hotel guests unaware
That it’s popular with swingers!!

Ah no way just missing you guys! We are leaving Gold on 30th!! Amazing hotel!!
We went to Venus for the day back in March. You can't buy in advance you just arrive just before 12 and pay at the desk. You can stay until 8pm. Happy hour is from 6pm great fun in the massive jacuzzi! We went some great couples and then met them later in Cita.

Ah no way just missing you guys! We are leaving Gold on 30th!! Amazing hotel!!
We went to Venus for the day back in March. You can't buy in advance you just arrive just before 12 and pay at the desk. You can stay until 8pm. Happy hour is from 6pm great fun in the massive jacuzzi! We went some great couples and then met them later in Cita.

We will be there from 9th - 21st November, great place to stay, central to most venues and short stroll to the beach.
We managed to ‘spot’ some of the 80%! Good time was had and hopefully Will be again   |

We've tried there and yes, food was grand but we've always found Huracan has more atmosphere and Victor is a hoot when he keeps necking the left over Cocktail mixed. Always have a laugh there |

We went in today, we’re not residents but reception said it was ok to go in and have a look around, spent about an hour there and had a couple of drinks around the pool, absolutely loved the place, we will be booking there for next year x |

We arrive at Gold on 26th October till the 4th our third visit to this great hotel. Our first visit was two days after we was allowed to go abroad again after Covid that was weird |

Just got back from our 2nd stay there. Had Street Side both times and the rooms have been excellent. We used the courtesy room on the first floor to change this time and they have a great outside area.
It’s a terrific hotel, with great facilities and great looking staff. Would highly recommend and we are hoping to go back in October. |

It’s a great hotel, however two years ago we had a late flight and on our arrival we got to our room and found that the toilet wouldn’t flush and also found a scaffolding tower outside our balcony!! We complained with reception and they gave us a different room
To our surprise it was only one of the two master suites above the restaurant
We had never had a room as big!

We will be in PDI next week. Our first visit to the Gran Canaria. Looking forward to chilling out, visiting the beaches and hopefully get a chance to go to Moonlight the swingers club on one of the nights.
Would be nice to meet a like minded couple for drinks aswell |

All sounds good we are looking at booking in November and was unsure about the Street Side compared to the South Side upper floors |

Ok going to put it out there
Gold is in a very good position for 2x2 and only a short walk from Cita.
But has very limited hanging/storage space in rooms.
Sink and bathroom is open to room
The sunbeds are fixed to the slope or noisy due to extraction on terrace.
Don’t get us wrong we enjoyed staying at Gold but not sure if it’s worth the price. |

The breakfast till 12 , friendly happy staff, nothing is too much to them , the cleaners are always busy, chilled environment, is what makes it worth the extra money. Yes the sunbeds are fixed on the terrace (not slope) |

We are there from 15th June for a week in south facing room, not totally sure just what to expect lol but great to hear you’re having a great time and the hotel is top notch which is really reassuring |
