Can’t vote on the hotel as never stayed in any, but from a location perspective, Gold would be the perfect location to be in between the Yumbo and Cita, and a walk down to the beach.
Our preference would be PDS as we like to be closer to the Yumbo with a nice brief walk to the Cita.
I’d throw Servatur Don Miguel into the mix on the basis that it’s close to the Yumbo, adults only, decent pool and have a free shuttle to PDI and MasPas beaches. x |

"Can someone recommend somewhere to stay for myself and my (female) friend. We've never been to CG before and want to go to the clubs. Thanks! "
I suppose the question is more about what you are looking for. Self catering, breakfast only, all inclusive, budget, premium etcetera.
To give you some guidance (with minimising a hijack on the OPs thread, but hopefully keeping apparent and in context).
Close to the Cita Center which is the swinging hub:
All inclusive option: Abora Caterina
Cheap and Cheerful with Self Catering: Rey Carlos (though would suggest upgrading to a superior room if you want a more modern feel). Rooms 401 and 501 will also give you sea views. Internet isn’t great, if this is important.
Upmarket: Gold by Marina
Close to the Yumbo (LGBT hub lots of bars and restaurants) and a 10/15 minute walk to the Cita Centre:
Breakfast/half board option: Servatur Don Miguel (adults only, decent brekky, nice pool, good internet WiFi coverage in rooms and pool, free shuttle to beaches)
Cheap and cheerful: Playa del Sol (adults only, roof top for naked sunbathing)
Self catering: Mur Buenos Aires. Cheap/cheerful, clean rooms, good internet WiFi coverage, pool is ok and food/drink ok and reasonably priced.
If you download the PDI 101 guide from the Eden website, then there’s more guidance.
All of the above are on the bus route from the airport, so the 66 or 90, will drop you nearby for €3.5.
Hope this helps. |

Thank you!! This is absolutely brilliant! I've seen a decent price for the Servatur on a half board basis and the reviews are really good too! |

To add to the excellent reply above:
Do you want naked sunbathing at the hotel? Remember away from the hotels and bars people sunbathe naked everywhere else on the beaches and there are 2 designated nudist areas (kiosks selling food and drink, inexpensive sun lounger and umbrella hire) the area at Kiosk 6 is probably best for meeting lifestyle people.
Guide to PDI on Eden website is excellent (download a copy as the one on the screen is out of date).
Your profile says you are an Exhibitionist and definitely not into Bi (no idea about your friend). Depends what sort of Exhibitionism you are into: if it is dressing up then you will be in the right place as anything goes in most of the Lifestyle bars and definitely clubs and you will be far from unique. If it is "public" raunchy displays then all of the same bars and for sex obviously all the clubs (that is what their model is); if it is alfresco then dunes behind kiosk 6 (with usual caveat about sexual acts in public and the dunes are now a protected area but still used).
Presume from your profile that you will be looking for single males? In which case you will be inundated as 2 x single females. Check each club for what they have each night as some are couples only and they can change so the review on Eden may have been superseded.
Provide more details on what you (and your friend) are looking for and members will be able to give better tailored recommendations than I have here.
Hope that helps.

Depends what you want.
I have only stayed at HL Suites half board and really liked the hotel, standard of food. Hi light was the roof terrace with bar (textile up but not by much) including naked sunbathing area with 2 x hot tubs (use your imagination but be discreet, not everyone there are swingers).
HL Suits is probably furthest from Cita but close to Eden and Yumbo and taxis are inexpensive, or walk off dinner if you are comfortable wearing your outfit in public "Muggles" areas. |

Another upvote for Gold. This will be our second stay and our 3rd trip to PDI. It’s perfectly located close to both yumbo, cita and the beach. The hotel is primarily full of swingers but is a vanilla hotel so idea for socialising whilst still having a break from actual play. Food is good, rooms well appointed and staff friendly.
Even if you do end up staying elsewhere it’s worth getting a day pass and having a look for potential future visits. |

So I’m hopefully taking the hubby, worst case friend
Hubby is quite vanilla and not into getting naked at the beach unfortunately haha
Although it is my mission at pdi.
So nights out I love to dress slutty without being judged.
Love to be topless around the pool as enjoy showing my boobs off.
Bars and clubs ideally not swingers as neither of us into swinging
I’m a huge exhibitionist so happy to try a club one night for the experience.
Excited to chill at the beach kiosk in just a thong whilst making new holiday friends
Hope I don’t sound to weird lol
Thanks so much for your input I’m sure everyone will agree your knowledge of the area is amazing xx |

Waikiki is about a 12 minute walk to the Yumbo and then bolt on another 10/15 to get to the Cita. Otherwise a €4 cab ride.
You’re very close to a short walk and over the bridge to Eden. |

You’re very welcome. We and our friends enjoyed our stay there. They’ve also a small gym. Club sandwich was nice when wanting to stay by the pool and have a break with a nice cold frosty.
We had breakfast and it’s pretty decent and a variety of things to eat.
If you do get bored and fancy a breakfast outside the hotel, then pop to the Yumbo and head to Mardi Gras. The guys are fantastic and will look after you with a hearty home from home brekky.
If you fancy a breakfast more on the healthier side, then a walk towards the Cita centre and when you see the Rey Carlos hotel on the left, on the right down off the road is a place called Calma Cafe. They do a great power breakfast. The scrambled eggs and toast is to die for. Didn’t feel heavy on the stomach but kept us fuelled and going for hours.
Let us know how you get on. x |

Not weird at all, everyone is different in what they want/are comfortable with.
You wont be judged as "slutty" no matter what you ware in the swingers venues and remember play is optional not compulsory. Many people there just like the vibe and are not players themselves, we don't bite (unless that is your thing ). Some that do play only play with their partners and often behind closed doors after soaking up the sexually charged atmosphere or enjoy being around others that play in plain sight.
The nudist beaches are "clothing optional" not mandatory nude so your husband will be fine in textiles but will be in the minority. Remember Spain has very liberal laws regarding nudity, it isn't illegal in public unless a bylaw (at some town beaches) so if you hit the beaches away from the nudist ones you will find more of a mix of naked and textiles which may be more to your husbands liking. You will be fine at any of the beach kiosks in just a thong but at the nudist beaches you will be one of the few women with anything on.
Topless sunbathing OK in most hotels. |

For us its the Anamar across the road from the Gold, its got all the facilities and location of Gold but not as pricey we also prefer the pool there but unless you've been to both its hard to compare like for like |

It’s probably best not to compare like for like, especially in PDI.
For most, it’s a holiday with adding swinging to the vacation, and fantastic that it caters for most price points.
Our personal view is that we stay away from the package holiday unless it makes financial sense, and book hotel and flight separately.
We aim for flights outside school holidays (as this is our ‘adult’ holiday) and aim for a mid range hotel/apartment, which to date have been clean and acceptable. Not swanky or the ritz, but happy for us to commit to. By hitting this price point, it means we can then utilise the rest of the holiday budget and load up on the best part of the holiday; food, drink, excursions, clubs.
This model works well for us, which results in heading over twice/thrice a year.
I’m sure whatever availability there is and the budget you’re working to, you’re going to have a great holiday.
Why? Because what makes pdi is everything outside your hotel. Fantastic food, great weather, bars and clubs for everyone and one of the best holiday communities you’re likely to meet.
Beware! It’s addictive for those reasons. |

Absolutely agree with you everyone's budget and expectations are different, we always book outside the school holidays for the price and lack of children , but we like the holiday to be a holiday with added swinging but we also love the feel of the place , shows, great food and the bars. No 2 hotels or apartments are exactly the same but each offer different facilities, some like the naked sunbathing on the roof but for us this is less important as we like the beach. As long as your happy with the cleanliness and facilities you'll have a happy holiday and hopefully keep returning, there is enough clubs or swing resorts to keep you busy for whatever length of stay you decide |

Choose Gold in the end xx"
Lol yes some closure would have been great. Haha
Great choice for locality. You’re in the centre of a perfect beach-Yumbo-Cita triangle.
And as for hotel, whilst I cannot personally comment from experience, I’ve yet to hear a bad word.
Enjoy your trip and kicking swing season off. We’ll look forward to the cadence in October from the September PDI crew. xx |
