"It’s a lot smaller than Venus star as I remember, however, that does make it more intimate, and if I remember correctly you do have to chase the sun a bit, but I’m sure it will be fab "
Yes, it was even smaller than La Mirage. We have lots of friends that loved the old Venus as it was so intimate but as you say, you had to chase the sun, so if it's in the same place, as a sun worshipper wouldn't stay there but would try a day pass to see how they've improved the place.
The old Venus was very popular, so can see the new resort doing well and wish them luck. More places for swingers to stay can only be a good thing ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

Zurich. NOT London. |
The new resort opened on Wednesday. Yes, it's the old pink Venus but the massive renovations have been done to a very high standard, not just in the bungalows, but include a new kitchen, bar and restaurant and chill out covered area, which is useful on the slightly cooler nights we have here presently.
The food was exquisite, with 2 Italian and one Spanish chef in resort. Have the tiranisu if they have it when you visit! They also have Lavazza coffee, which is a massive plus for us.
The bungalows have a palette of soft golds, black and ivory, and have everything you need and the walk in showers have excellent water pressure, which was previously a bit lacking on occasions.
As has been said, some of the loungers lose sun mid afternoon, but as somebody who avoids the midday sun, I'm fine with that. The high tables at the new bar area get full sun all day.
As its only 12 bungalows it doesn't have quite the same party vibe as Venus, but as has been said, it's far more intimate and will be our resort of choice for maybe a lazy chilled long weekend, or perhaps a few day at the beginning or end of a holiday at Venus for a change of pace. They do have parties in the pipeline, but these are still in the planning stages.
The opening day afterparty at Moonlight was also amazing. We arrived at 9.30 pm and the place was already very busy. By 11.30pm it was standing room only in both the bar and the playrooms.
In all, an excellent and VERY enjoyable day at both the new SWParadise resort and the Moinlight afterparty. |

We’re booked in 20th feb we loved it when it was old Venus like how the play area is out of the way and where the jacuzzi is situated. The mirrored ceilings are great as well.
What’s the new play area like there’s no pics on the website |
