To help dunes recover you are meant to stay to the marked trails. However, when I was there in Mar the dunes have recovered so rapidly that the sand has covered many of the roped off areas and people were everywhere. Behind the "old kiosk 4" there were lots of guys cruising around but not many women/couples. Fairly sure that as a woman or part of a couple you will soon draw attention if that is what you want.

Behind what is now kiosk 7 there were no roped off areas at all. The poles for "the path" is marked by regular white posts but they are not roped. |

Yes from Lighthouse (looking out to see) turn left, you'll soon see al the naked bodies. If you get to the rainbow flags/kiosk you have gone one kiosk (100m) too far. Be aware that nudity is pretty much the norm for sunbathers once away from the hotels/bars other than the walkers and around non nudist kiosks, but you will know when you have found the nudist kiosk. Be aware if coming from the other direction there is another nudist kiosk but this is not as well frequented by the lifestyle.

The marshals usually go about 130 then you can wander around in the dune’s without been bothered was there in January no where near as busy as it used to be but still had some fun just turned up at the right time to join in a bukka she was lovely |

We went into Dunes with z local guy we know

They have changed all the numbers- I think there are 7 kiosks in total- the one nearest the lighthouse- maspalomas end is kiosk 7 - the next one along the beach is kiosk 6 which is where the fun used to be.
From PDI end - kiosk 3 is nudist and you can also find people being naughty there more so against the rope barrier at the back of the beach!
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong about the numbers!

There’s a lot of confusion on this thread. We were there in October. Kiosk 7 is at the meloneras / lighthouse end of the beach. It’s nudist so don’t go expecting wall to wall swinging but there is some fun there. We saw it mainly later in the afternoon when people have been drinking at the kiosk for a couple of hours. Go over the dune immediately behind the kiosk and to your right and there’s a spot that seems popular.
Kiosk 3 is at the PDI end, it’s smaller and we didn’t like it as much but evidently some fun goes on just behind it in the dunes behind the ropes.

It seems that they regularly change the numbers. When we were there in May, they were numbered from both ends, so two kiosk 1s, two kiosk 2s etc.
It sounds like they've realised that was a daft idea... |

Just a simple thing but the sand in Maspalomas is unlike any pother, we took a paint brush after watching others do the same, simple but when it comes to putting sun cream on each other it stops it being like applying sandpaper lol |

Yes, not into barrier, but can check the signal map near Riu hotel where Authorities explains the permitted and restricted areas depending of kinf of protection. You can walk from hut 3 to Santa Monica hotel (not crossing rope barrier). However you shouldn’t walk out paths from Riu to “Charca” (little lake I am meaning ). |
