Hi all. Has anyone stayed at this hotel before? We can't find anything on the threads. It's got mixed reviews and some have issues about the air-conditioning, WiFi etc. Location looks great for Cita and has a nude terrace.

We stayed nearby in April and walked around Calle Roma a few times. Yes, it's very handy to Cita and also the beach and our overall impression was that it is a very quiet area. Can't comment on accommodation, or facilities but you're spot on with the location

By the way, if you come out of the hotel and turn right, as you walk along Calle Roma, there's an alley on the opposite side of the road that brings you out directly across the road from Cita. It's well lit at night and shortens the walk by a good bit. You can check it out on Google maps

How did you get on at Alhambra?

I've booked for next year and am interested to know your thoughts/experience.

We are staying there in November. Would be interested in hearing how your stay went.

We know the area well, have stayed in apartments nearby and like being near to both the beach and Cita

Hey Shropsduo,

Happy New Year, if I'm not too late.

How did you get on here in November?

I'm intrigued.

Hi,

Yes everything was good. Nice apartments. WiFi good. Loved the naturist terrace with sea views, although no toilets up there. There is a shower though.

We didn't like the position of our room, it was ground floor directly opposite the busy office and entrance, so not relaxing on the balcony.

It was full though, so we couldn't be moved.

Recommended trying to get an upper floor if possible.

That's great info. Thanks.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for a room on an upper floor!

Is the rooftop hot tub in the clothed or nude part?

Was there many people nude up there, or will we be 'lone-crusaders'?!

No the hot tub is in the clothed part unfortunately, only just through the door though but you have to wear something.

There were about 4 or 5 couples usually up there but it will all depend on who’s staying there.

Magic.

Thanks for letting me know.

I'm still looking forward to it!

Last week of Feb feels like a nice time for some sun and the location looks ideal for the beach, centres, Tipsy Hammock, but not as noisy as a couple of others we've stayed in.

Hi and sorry for not updating...completely forgot! We loved it there and will definitely be going back. We only saw 1 other couple on the roof but didn't get a signal that they were anything than vanilla. We had fun ourselves though on a few occasions . Nice and quiet with a 2 minute walk to Cita. I know which room is mentioned in a post which is opposite the stairs and that is probably the worst hand you could be dealt. We asked for a top floor room before we got there but were just told it depends on availability and ended up on middle floor. Rooms are clean and entry is by code. Any questions give us a shout

Hi

Wonder if it’s any coincidence we had the same room overlooking the lifts and the office with the vending machine next to us, you are below ground level so absolutely no view and people standing by your balcony waiting for lift’s etc.

We had booked a deluxe room independently and were told this was only room available, even though rooms still available on line.

It would seem a German tour company block books and they get preference.

Location spot on and nice and clean but would never go again unless a high floor guaranteed.

We are the same, wouldn't go again unless we could be guaranteed a higher room. We were there 15 days too, so a long time for it to be not what we wanted. The lady checking us in did something to compensate a bit, as she felt sorry for us, but would have forgone that for a higher room.

We met a British couple on the roof terrace who had a higher level room, so I think it's just luck of the draw.

The lady checking us in did say it was like playing Jenga trying to fit everyone in the rooms when it was so busy.
