We have enjoyed regular visits to Gran Canaria but want to try Alicante as the local airport flys direct. Any couples living in the area we would love to hear from you with any tips or recommendations of where to stay for a few days visit and fun.

I'd have a look on the Torrevieja and Costa Blanca South page, gives you a bit of info on clubs in the area and also a list of people who live here full time and also visitors to the area.

Good luck in finding what you want.

We’re also heading to Alicante in May. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this thread for some guidance and advice.

It depends if you want 'Spain' or Little Britain. High-rise or something more easy on the eye. If you like your concrete, then Benidorm is the place for you. It's got a club, has a whole British quarter, but is also very popular with Spanish people and has loads of tapas bars and restaurants based in or near the Old Town. The world is your oyster
