We've booked to stay at Gold for a week from 6th January.

We know it's a way off but are excited and would like to know what to expect of the resort in January. Historically how busy will the resort be then ?

Have seen a few posts from the past couple of years so thought we'd ask.

Please feel free to say Hi if you'll be there x

Hi both, we have been to PDI the last two years and have had a great time. It doesn't feel to busy but there are loads of people from all over Europe there who are having fun. We are there again at Venus Star from 9th January.

October to March/April are the busiest months in GC. You have picked the best hotel, Gold is our favourite, so laid back and they have the best staff. We are there for New Year, but leaving the day before you arrive. Have fun x

We have just been in January this year but the weather was very windy and cold

Parts of the beach and our roof terrace where cut off so sunbathing was out of the question

We still had a great holiday but the weather could have been better

It definitely is pot luck as we were there earlier this year NYE to 8th Jan and the weather was glorious, no cloud or rain for the whole holiday.

It’s just luck of the draw isn’t it..

We are thinking about booking again for next January as it definitely feels to shorten the dreary UK winter months so may see you there xx

Thankyou. Keep us posted as we could probably use a tour guide

" Thank you, we may do a day pass to Venus!"

We can recommend the day pass to Venus. People have the impression before going that it’s too ‘full on’ and ‘a free for all’ but that’s not our experience….found the day chilled, friendly, engaging, lots of fun and well worth the day out.

We went on Saturday for the BBQ - €85 per couple for food and included drinks (beers/sangria/cava between 2-5pm - BBQ food buffet to die for and drinks were top class.

Enjoy!!

19th to 29th January for us this year but we’re also over end of October , we were February last year weather wise hoping it’s good , locals last year had said it was coldest winter for a few years but was still warm enough most days to get out in the sun .
