Gets very busy in July and August, mostly Spanish visitors.
Out of season it's pretty quiet.
Daytime activities are either the beach (weather permitting) or you can go to the salt lakes and cover yourself in black mud (supposed to be good for the skin) You will see quite a few people who look like they have just escaped from the Black and White Minstrels.
For nightlife it's just small bars and restaurants and prepare for an early night. Benidorm it certainly isn't.
There used to be a nudist beach just out from the marina but San Pedro became the first (and I think still only) municipality in Spain to ban nudity from all its beaches. |
