I'm no expert but in my experience and general rule of thumb is to avoid currency exchanges at airports and shop ATM's abroad, poor rates of exchange. If you need cash in PDI use a proper bank ATM, like Deutsche Bank or BVVB, its most likely a safer transaction.

If you are a santander customer then you can use the santander ATM'S with your debit card and get a better rate. I always use this method. It comes straight out of your account no charges for using the ATM. |
