Hi everyone
Looking for recommendations for good restaurants in PDI/Meloneras...staying in Gold but will be going to Meloneras some nights.
Wapa Tapa is top of our list but where else?
Want to go back to Cafe Del Mar as love it for cocktails but food isn't great...
Thanks!

El Poncho steakhouse
Sakura III Japanese
Both on Av de Tirijana at the roundabout above Caterina
There's quite a few really nice restaurants farther up from this roundabout
Marco Polo in Cita
Sa.Wa.Dee in Melonares near the bus station
In our opinion these are excellent but there are plenty more |

Pitos y flautas was nice food in Melonares. Have Fideua (similar to a paella)on the menu which is rare in tourist locations.
Cafe del mar food ok but the entertainment and ambience make it a great evening. |

"Oh and Rias Bajas beside Yumbo if you like seafood"
Yes can definitely recommend this restaurant. Food was superb. The salt crusted Seabass was excellent and the baked cheesecake was really yummy. |

Restaurante Ola in the Cita , it’s Austrian the food service and wine is excellent . It’s past the black Bull dog bar upstairs . There’s also calms chicha for something really special . They do a tasting menu that’s amazing . But the one we always go to most is Restaurante Ola x |

Ah, perfect.. Just the thread we've been looking for.. Will have a read through and if anyone has any other recommendations we're all ears. Particularly like seafood, proper pizza, Mediterranean food, some decent Tapas would be lovely. Whatever you've got boys and girls. Xx |

360º on the rooftop of Bohemia Hotel (across from Gold) is wonderful. They also have a beautiful rooftop cocktail bar called Atelier.
We love it there.
In Gold they have LA Palermo Sur. This is incredible food, but the setting isn't the best we feel.xx |

Apart from Wapa Tapa, Motivos - off the tourist track in San Fernando and a lot of the locals go there. Almost next door - La Cucina Italiana en Gran Canaria. Samsara in Melanores. We concur with Rias Bajas, El Poncho. |

-Steak house: “El Churrasco” near Lopesan
-Rice (Paella) and drinks: “El Senador” near ligth house, so close to the sand of the beach, incredible views to the sea (first line near Faro)
-Spanish food (good prices): “Mojo Cilantro” in Playa del Inglés
-Pasta and Italian food: “Rimini” (pdi)
-Sea food: “Rias bajas” (near Yumbo)
-Fresh Fish: (I don’t recommend in Maspalomas&Pdi). You can go to Telde coast if you have a car rented.
