In all fairness I would say look at Old Town accommodation? You'll definitely be judged in the New Town Levante area  |

I would agree with that.
While the hotel in new town may be fine you have to think about who else will be around.
That part of Benidorm attracts a hell of a lot of pissheads (stag/hen do's Etc.) and a gang of lads with a skin full of ale will probably not be nice fellow guests.
Old town is much more laid back and has a lot of TV/TS friendly bars.
