We hope to head out this summer ‘23’ July/ August, hoping to stay at the Vera Playa hotel.. As seems as cheap as anywhere else at the minute with the costs of flights so expensive.

we have our own aaprtment in vera playa but we have always stayed in apartments as we like the freedom.
We understand the hotel is good and we go to hotel street a lot |

The club is called Templum. It’s ok but can be a bit quiet especially out of season. It is, in our experience, much busier at weekend with the locals so a smattering of Spanish is helpful. We’ve had some good times there but also been one of a handful of couples at other times. Give it a try though |

Going to be there 9th to 21st. Sadly K not with me, so have an apartment and will hopefully find someone who will enjoy joining me. Can't wait for lots of naked time, some exploring, and some online work sessions where at least half dressed. Cheers Chris |

"Fun" on the beach will probably get you arrested. It is a naturist beach quite often used by family's, it isn't a swinger beach. For that go to Cap d'Agde.
There are no dunes behind Vera Playa, it's pretty much all developed.
We've heard of (but never tried) a piece of waste land towards Palomares that attracts a few doggers but that is about it.
For fun in Vera it's either the club (when it's open) or back to the apartment if you get a meet. |

We use Zip transfers everytime we go on holidays anywhere, never a problem (even when we discovered that we still had the key to our apartment in Gran Canaria and had to go back to drop it off)
Club Hotel is great, fantastic pool and we enjoy the food, not much more expensive than an apartment in our view. |

Staying hotel 10th to 23rd May. Got a really good deal with Shuttle Direct last year (acting as agents fo Flybus) but this year seem expensive. Will try nearer the time. Perhaps if more folk book they will use larger vehicle and lower price. Otherwise will use Executive airport shuttles. They only go as far as Consum Supermarket so if you choose to use them will have to walk rest of way. Not really an issue, presumably you will only have hand luggage |

Can anyone local confirm this and as Enigma Swinger has very little information online can anyone who knows the place provide any detail regards the place please? |

I emailed Templum and they said the permanently closed on Google is due to them only being open on Saturday at present. |

We were there last May 14th-28th, the weather was absolutely fantastic, 2 weeks of sunshine and high 20°s, that's why we are returning in 4 weeks |

Sadly, I'll miss you all as I arrive on the 8th. Te plum is the only club in Vera Playa itself and I enquired as to if they are open. They emailed back and said they are open just on a Saturday evening at present. Xxx |

I always take the AP7. The toll is about 11 Euro but there's only a couple of junctions, almost no traffic and a much more pleasant drive. |

The toll road is much quieter and definitely a better drive. No thinking required about where to exit either as the Vera junction is right after the last toll booth. Worth the money in my opinion. |

Most activities meets/parties would likely be privately arranged in accommodation rather than a venue.

As its a naturist resort with swinging under the radar I'd imagine you could get arrested for openly playing in any of the bars.

Pecados Pub has a dark room for couples and another one fro everyone. You can play there.

We are here now, The club is open only on Saturdays at moment, We have been going to El Pecado most nights, It's a disco with a couples only play area with 6 large open beds and a Swing, There is a mixed room for anyone separate from couples area, and a nice outside area to chat and drink,
We like it very much as you can chat outside, dance inside with a mix of Spanish and English music and play as well, We will ask tonight if we can take some photos when it first opens, Message us privately if you want to see photos, opens from 10pm to 4am every night |

I agree and that goes for the beach or anywhere else in public too.
I've been a naturist for many years before I started swinging and appreciate its all about respect and acceptance (as swinging should be) but they are dramatically different in what is acceptable behaviour and I dare say the authorities in Vera Playa would be less than happy if people ignored the fact. |

Is there an entry fee for single males as Google thinks it's a nightclub?
Google also says its only open on a Friday and Saturday evening so it sounds like google is showing it's usual ignorance. |

I would bet there is some action at sunset and during night. Bit not during day time, even less in summer months with children around.
Also there is a dogging area in the small pines forest at the end of the beach. |

Mine did that for the first few tries, then suddenly realised where I was. You may have to close your browser and restart it, and also make sure you've got location services turned on when roaming. But it definitely should work, if it doesn't it's likely your phone configuration wrt permissions etc. |

A kilt will be fine. Most places don't have a dress code. If its a posh affair just give them a bell maybe or Google maps reviews. I'd be surprised if anyone was turned away for what they wear here. |

Sorry, came down pretty heavily most of the night but eased off a little now. Another bout is due tomorrow afternoon/evening and possibly a little Sunday too I was told.
I went to El Pecado and although severely hampered by the rain, which I reckon kept people away, I still enjoyed the night (though the playrooms were not used all night from 11 when I turned up) pure cos the choons were great. Varied with plenty of euro pop/rock often with a Latin flavour as you'd expect.
I can't say much about outside other than it was wet but the inside was clean and constantly being cleaned by staff.
I asked the bouncer if she minded showing me the couples playroom if and when it was empty as I have friends considering attending and thankfully she obliged. Couples playroom comprises of a leather swing behind a curtain directly opposite the double curtains into the room (policed efficiently by the bouncers though it was a very quiet night so I'm not sure if they would cope if fab decended on to the place) then there were what looked like four partitioned areas king size mattresses size with the usual pvc/latex covering for easy cleaning but a couple I met nipped in and had a better look and they said they saw no means to clean the mattresses if they got messy as they invariably do. Lighting in the couples room was not great in my opinion, but we all have our own preferences I suppose. I was just surprised as the main room has decent led lighting effects and the so called dark room (not pitch black but more like a photographer's dark room with the infra red lighting) also working better than the couples room.
The dark room is a similar size to the couples room but maybe a smidgen smaller. The dark room has smaller cubicles with lockable doors. I don't recall if these cubicles have any sort of mattress or bedding or even a bed.
Couples can invite single males in to the couples room so long as he remains with them.
Overall I liked the atmosphere and the place itself but it did have more of a community centre feel with the many locals than the a traditional UK swinger club so please don't expect that.
Deffo a bar/disco with the added benefits of the couple of playrooms. |

I'm going to Templum tonight as its where I made my first steps into the lifestyle by poking my nose in to see what it was like, just as it opened, and deciding to wait til I get back to the UK before I officially start my journey proper.
I'm not 100% sure it will be open but I did email and they said it would. 11 til 4. Couples 40€, Single male 50€ and Single females 20€. (nowt new there then). |

It's baltic outside but warm enough inside. Better than I saw it in 2016 but only a few desperate people.
Can't really tell anyone about upstairs in the couples area but your typical night club on group level. There's a threesome area up one set of stairs that single males need to be invited up to by couples and a couples only area at the back of the club which single males are not allowed up to. As usual for a Saturday night couples for couples night. Seems like a good mix but very little chance of communication down stairs due to the choons and my poor Spanish. Google translate simply pisses on every firework in the box. |

I was on a bit of a homage as Its where my swing journey could have started so it was enough for me to go and see I'd made the right decision back in 2016 not to go. I'm mostly on the party scene these days rather than a clubber but when I was clubbing I had given up on going to clubs on Saturday nights as a single male well before other nights as the resentment for even being there, by an awful lot of couples, when just trying to make polite conversation was ridiculous so I just left Saturday as a couples for couples night.
I can't tell what went on upstairs in Templum but I'd imagine not a lot for many of the couples as they were up and down to the singles floor looking to see if any other couples had arrived. There seemed an awful lot of staring, some even unknowingly glaring I'd say, between couples rather than chatting socially which is the norm in UK clubs.
Out of the two nights I would suggest El Pecado was the more suited to people from the UK as Templum is predominantly Spanish, though a couple of brit couples were in Templum (neither played as far as I am aware) and unless you are looking particularly for as Spanish couple and have good Spanish, El Pacado is more straightforward and a better atmosphere in my opinion.
