Have Spanish lawyer dealing with our NLVs and NIE numbers. We meet all the criteria and we’re planning a viewing trip mid to late Jan. Have sold our house to avoid Spanish capital gains tax. Primarily we’re looking at the Murcia region especially Totana and Mazzaron. Any advice would be appreciated. How much per month would you need for a comfortable life style. We’ll be buying a property outright so rent wouldn’t come into the equation. Think the UKs just about had it. |

Hi. It very much depends on what lifestyle you want/hope for/expect/are used to.
If you are relocating completely then I would suggest an income of around €3000 monthly would afford you a good lifestyle. I have experience in the Canaries and happy to help if you think I can. Contact me directly. Not sure what the capital gains reference you make relates to though. |

Same goes if you have a private pension and can do your 25% drawdown before moving over and start paying Spanish taxes |
