We just booked from 18-25th March and have noticed the carnival is on from the 9th to the 19th of March
We were there in March2019 and the carnival was amazing, lots of events every night in the Yumbo and the parade on the Saturday night has to be seen to be believed.

Well jel!
Especially this year with the theme Latin Rhythms. I’d booked accommodation for a long weekend and sourced a flight.
It was going to be St Patrick’s parade in Brum the week before, St Patrick’s Friday night. MasPas parade Saturday afternoon then the Yumbo/street party Saturday night.
Finally on Sunday, down the beach to bury a sardine.
Unfortunately, Lizzie’s work wasn’t kind and an opportunity missed. 
Last year, most places closed. Before and 2x2MP stayed open.
Might have to try and get over for San Juan.

The road to Nilo is closed on Saturday 18th and as a result, we too shall close. We will then be taking the opportunity to join what is shaping up to be party of the year in Before and Lemur with some of the club owners we have spoken to saying they will join us.

I remember from 2019 was moonlight was completely empty on the Wednesday night which was unusual and I think we ended up in secret, I think there were quite a few in 2x2 on the Thursday night but only a few couples and the night we went to Patricia's it was dead.
Having said that we had a lot of fun with the couples we did meet

Last year attendance at clubs was low in proportion to the number of swingers who were on the island. But last year was statistically weird altogether.
We suggest that this will be one of those times where the "fab tools" such as who's near and statuses can be used to bring people together in the same place. |

Yesterday evening we were in one of the swingers bars until about 11.
We were about the only people in there, but there was a constant stream of people popping their heads round the door and then disappearing because it was almost empty. If they'd all stayed, it would have been quiet, but reasonable.
So come on people. Support your favourite bars during Carnival, even if you're the only people in there, and it's only for one drink! |

We were about the only people in there, but there was a constant stream of people popping their heads round the door and then disappearing because it was almost empty. If they'd all stayed, it would have been quiet, but reasonable.
So come on people. Support your favourite bars during Carnival, even if you're the only people in there, and it's only for one drink!"
That's what we found most nights during the week in 2019 which is why we thought we'd try to get a few couples together on Saturday.

The Parade starts about 5 on Saturday and in 2019 went on for about 5 hours !!
Eden will probably be open from 9 as usual tonight but will definitely be closed tomorrow night as they are coming to the party in Before / Lemur |

The supermercado on Av. de Gran Canaria by Jardin del Sol was a good place to pitch up last year. Busy but good views and a local supermarket to grab some beers and crisps. Loved it!
Or maybe get on a float? |

What time does your flight land in the 16th ?
PDI is almost completely closed to traffic after about 5 o'clock when the parade starts and the traffic backs up on the main road |
