St Ives bay area

We always stayed at abora Caterina and was always great.

Was left a little disappointed when we stayed there in May.

But we always get it at a good price and the location is good for the swingers clubs etc.

We was going to go back pdi this month again but was looking at other hotels to try. In the end we have decide to have a change all together and got fuerteventura instead.

Scotland, Liverpool, Manchester, London

We stayed at Riu Palace Maspalomas last time and it was great, spotlessly clean, rooms a great size and the pool area was lovely too.

Location wise it’s in just the right spot for the dunes and the clubs.

Mid Cornwall

We stayed in Gran Canaria Princess Hotel in September and returning this month as found it ticked all our boxes.

We upgrade to highest floor as views really good.

It's adult only but not a swingers Hotel and no nude terrace but OK to go topless and wear skimpiest bottoms as no children around.

Can't wait to return xxx

Shrewsbury

We’ve stayed at the RIU Papayas and it’s absolutely lovely, 3 different restaurants all top quality and a brilliant hotel.

We then have stayed at the Abora Catarina which suits us brilliantly for location and they have the naked adults only terrace, which again suits us, the 5 minute walk to the bar to get a drink really doesn’t bother us, firstly it gets us out the sun for a few minutes (always welcome at over 30degrees) and secondly stops us drinking crazy amounts ( which ensures that we make it out on an evening to the cita centre)

Everyone is different and values different things on holiday, which is why it’s a very subjective topic.

,

We have stayed at the Abora Catarina many times over the years before and after refit and when it was known as IFA Catarina and we know the OP has also from seeing their forum posts, we recall before that they used Rey Carlos, however change is good sometimes to be based in a different area of PDI

We have also stayed in the Don Miguel, Anamar, Axel Beach (prior to rename) Koala Gardens, Baobab, La Mirage, Hotel Ritual and Los Aguacates and we are happy to pass on our our thoughts on any of these if our memories allow but we don't really recall any of them being bad

High on our list to try if we ever fancy a change of hotel is the Suite Hotel as the rooftop terrace and bar look very inviting x

Birmingham

Depending on budget -

3 star - Gold by marina. A nice self catering hotel, clean, central to PDI and reasonably priced.

5 star - Hotel Faro in Maspalomas…. Brilliant hotel well located by the lighthouse.

Someone suggested Caserio or bohemian suites

These seem completely different to some of the others that have been suggested

Stayed at Gold and the breakfasts are amazing…. Suggestions are (and we did) try and get a deal on a junior suite.

The only downside in my opinion is no naked sunbathing…. If it had a naked area it would be perfect.
