Hi guys we are going to be back in PDI most of January and pretty familiar with the scene there so any help we can give just shout.
Where are you based exactly maybe we could meet before January for a chat?

A very friendly naturist hotel.

We are there for 7 nights flying out on Jan 5th staying in an apartment close to the Yumbo. Our 3rd time there during January and always seems to be a fairly busy time,,, secrets and fun for all here we come ?? |

We arrive 1st January until 12th January.
Staying Faro Lopisan, Maspalomas, next to the lighthouse (so handy for dunes and naked bed area lol)

There are some good threads on here giving info on the main areas for clubs etc.. alternatively early in your visit go to the cita centre , the comeback bar and chat to folk and you'll soon get all the info... |

Does anybody else nervously keep an eye on their hotel’s TripAdvisor reviews after booking?
Mine (Labranda Marieta) started as a 4.5 but has had a string of proper negative reviews since booking and heading rapidly downwards. I changed it twice already because I couldn’t make my mind up but too late now lol.
Hopefully it’s just an unlucky sequence of particularly fussy people! |

Some idiots expect 5* accomodation and Michelin star cuisine for the price of a 3* hotel
We've stayed in a lot of different hotels and apartments in PDI and they are all very similar and mostly very clean and comfortable.
All inclusive or half board will be pretty boring but edible.
If you're really fussy probably pay a bit more and go to the likes of the Rui Palace or some of the high end resorts in Melonares or Puerto del Mogan |

I personally am very easy to please, especially considering I’m travelling by myself. This is the first holiday for a long time where I’ve gone for just B&B as figured I won’t spend much time in the hotel if it’s as lively in PDI as I’ve heard!  |

The trouble with reviews is people are only usually mindful to leave one if it's a bad one or if it's a fantastic one. The vast majority of people that are just happy with what they get, don't bother.
I've been to some places with great reviews that weren't great and also vice versa so don't tend to take much notice anymore. |

You'll love it, probably spend all day on the beach and all night in the bars lol |

Just ignore them is our advice.
Lots of negativity about Caterina but a couple we spoke to out there in November couldn't fault it.
Another couple tried one of the upper end hotels in Meloneras and said it was awful.
We go to hotel that was criticised for AI food but we never had any issues.
Go with an open mind and ignore the reviews.

Stayed at la branda 3 times with no issues whatsoever,AI food is good value for the money,fantastic roof terrace  |
