The beach itself was beautiful. Definitely worth a visit. I parked next to the Iberostar Albufera Park (free parking) and then once I walked onto the beach turned right, and headed south-east, which allowed me to walk the entire stretch of the nudist beach. I had lunch at Ponderosa Beach, which I can definitely recommend although a bit pricey (might be worth making a recommendation).
Heading South from the Iberostar, you reach the nudist section after about 10-15 mins walk, and heading north from Ponderosa, after about 10mins.(I didn't try parking at this end but I'm sure you can). Its roughly between the two obelisks, but you can't miss it.
Very busy beach, lots of people in the clothed sections, lots of topless women in thongs but also suitable for families etc.
the beach itself is very narrow, and very long (took me about an hour to walk from where I parked to the restaurant) so in the nudist section people tended to be spread out, 1 group deep (maybe 2 at the cala picafort end). This meant there wasn't the same crowded but social vibe as at beaches such as maspalomas or capd'agde, but also too busy if you're planning some discreet fun like at corralejo -lots of clothed people walking past in close proximity, so also probably not ideal if it's your first nudist beach -although judging from both your pics that won't be a problem.
There were some dunes behind if you did want to play, but these were cordoned off with signs saying no walking, so probably not ideal.
In summary, beautiful beach, crystal clear water, great for being naked amongst other nudists. Probably not so good if you're looking for swinging action |
