Ok, so we have the list thread running and here's the Chitchat thread, to run alongside it.

Please keep THE LIST Chitchat free and post other stuff here...the only request is that it relates in some way to PDI in October.

Hotel advice/Flights/Club info/What to wear/Where to eat/Meet requests.... anything goes on the Chitchat thread.

Thanks, it's worked ok in previous years but it depends on the people taking up on it and using it for what it's intended for.

We see a lot of questions on this forum for clubs and bars other than PDI and thought we would mention a really nice free glossy magazine that is produced in Spain called Gente Libre. It has pretty good coverage of what Mainland Spain and the Regions have to offer. It's in Spanish but the website comes up in English.

I've looked at the list and on some dates, there are over 70 Fab couples in PDI....so how about a big Fab get together? try and get as many Fabbers as possible, in the same venue for "One Fucking Fab Night in PDI"?

We're there for the first week and there's two birthdays to be celebrated that we're aware of - including one of ours.

Feeding off what N&S have suggested, it would be great if at least once a week there is a meet and greet (sex optional), so that people arriving on the island can see who else is around and get to know them.

We are, however, conscious that getting everyone together at one venue on a regular basis isn't fair to other clubs and bars, some of whom are just hanging on for October after what has been a rough couple of years. We will speak to the other club/bar owners and see what we can come up with.

If you have a birthday whilst you're over on the Happy Swinging Island at any time (not just October) then we are always happy to make it a special event. Just contact us privately and we can set things up.

Definitely no nudity but topless ok. People will talk about fun in the jacuzzi, on the sun deck but think that would be frowned upon by staff, if they became aware. Plenty of fun in rooms by all accounts

Also, different people want different things and with so many out there, there's no reason we can't fill more than one club per night.

For us Eden would be a Monday visit, for others a Friday. We get the best results for everyone by talking about where to go on what night so support is spread and everyone gets the enjoyment they want, or at least a chance of it.

Just after recommendations on any other hotel or what gold is like really. Stayed at the abora catarina last time but to many kids for our liking which was obvious really as a family hotel. We love be Gold. The rooms are nice and if you're up early enough for the breakfast, it's a lovely experience just one we wouldn't repeat as it's very expensive compared to what else is around.

The placement couldn't be better, Yumbo within 10 minutes one way and Cita within 10 minutes another (we even walked to and from Eden one night).

Bus stops are just around the corner if you want to go further afield and the shopping centre next door has got one of our favourite restaurants in - Chez Luigi's.

No naked sunbathing allowed, even though it's an adults only hotel, and nice music in the background around the pool. The pool bar and lunchtime restaurant are good when used wisely and there's no objection to you bringing your own drink to the pool area either.

Can be quiet around the pool, but we're definitely up for making more conversation around the pool this time (we're there until 7th October).

The thinking behind the suggestion, was that on many occasions we hear of people chasing the crowd and going into venues and leaving almost immediately, due to the lack of people in there, at the particular time they were there. I simply thought if, for one night, we focused as many Fabbers as possible towards one venue(with the owners co-operation), it might make it a night in PDI to remember.

We've been going to PDI at least 3 times a year for the last 10 years(excluding Covid), so know the score and always have a ball there.

The List!!! is absolutely flying along with 119 Couples and 20+ Singles, to date.

Thank you everyone for sticking to the suggested format and keeping it clear from chit chat etc It really does work well when everyone does this....and we have the Chitchat thread for everything else.

October 2022 is looking like it will be every bit as busy as October 2019 was...and with several new venues since then, it's going to be awesome seeing PDI in full Swing again

Hopefully going to try to work with 2x2 Meeting Point and 2x2 Swingers Club at some point in October to do a 'mini tour'.

2x2 Meeting Point opens every night at 8pm-00.00 Have a couple in there.

Then off to 2x2 Swingers Club. Have a couple in there.

Then to us (if you wish) to finish the night.

Also thinking of a ''Newbie/Mix and Mingle'' Night at our place. Probably on a Sunday...?

We thought so too but as someone pointed out, people like to do their own thing and there's already the established Club and Bar Crawls for people to take part in. Non starter it seems from our perspective but at least we know now and don't have to wonder "what if...."

Ok, have had a few PM's and given it a think through.....

PM's ONLY.... We don't want any public debating please. PM's PLEASE if you're in PDI on Sunday 9th October and genuinely interested in coming along to " One Fucking Fab Night in PDI"

Need to guage interest and so decide on a likely suitable venue and see what can be arranged.

I reckon there's 75+ Fab couples in PDI that night but the last thing we want is everyone saying "we're interested" and only 4 or 5 turning up

Please PM's ONLY and only if you would definitely turn up, if you say you will.

If there's not enough interest, no biggy, everyone will still have a great time but it would be great to have one Fab night out in PDI(or we think it would be)

There’s been mention about gathering on 6th as there’s quite a few people arriving then and a number leaving 7th/8th, so before 10th and Miss Pleasuring’s special evening.

We’ve also got a Birthday to celebrate which we want to do on the 1st. So, it looks like there’ll be plenty of opportunity to gather celebration, or not.

We're with you in principle, and having at least one big gathering a week would be fantastic.

We've definitely got friends to reconnect with individually too. Just got to try and get the balance right.

Eden do a couple of Gentlemen's nights, for couples that like to meet single guys and is an excellent and very well run Club. There's also a Sunday night at 2x2 Club, which is Greedy girls night and is very busy.

From memory, the one time we stayed in Gold, check-in was pretty quick. All the staff there were excellent, throughout the stay

Thankfully we have good flight times and a very obliging Airbnb host...we should be sunning ourselves by lunchtime

There is another thread about this BUT to make sure I cover ALL my bases if anyone coming over during the first two weeks of October could you bring some UV/Neon bits. Glow sticks. Glow bracelets. We always go last week Oct, 1st week Nov and find it busy. Perhaps not as busy as earlier in the month but certainly not quiet
