"Hi, can anyone confirm the latest situation regarding accessing the Dunes? Are they still out of bounds except for the pathways?"
Yep, that's our understanding. |

The Dunes from No.4 hut is very quiet.
No Couples or “herds of men” heading in to the Dunes.
A police helicopter has flown down the beach twice in the last five days. One police truck has patrolled the beach next to the shoreline, a couple of times.
If anyone can provide an update on the situation accessing the Dunes from The Riu Maspalomas side? |

"Why are they closed off?"
Our understanding is that they are classed as area of natural beauty or the Spanish equivalent, they were being eroded by visitors trampling all over them and needed protection |

That was our understanding as well. |

Attempted to go a couple of days ago via the Riu! Managed about 200m then turned back, the sand was way too hot and blistered my toes! Don’t wear flip flops or any footwear that the sand can get in and touch your bare skin! Have spoken to others who have been who have told us to get a cab to the lighthouse then walk along the sea! Apparently there’s a bit of a mix up with the kiosks as there’s two kiosk 4s and one is dead! There’s been people at the other one we heard. Planning on checking it out tomorrow ourselves! |

We walked up to the dunes last week and as the last post said the sand was literally unbarable so yes the other way in is to the lighthouse or from the beach at Masplomas |

Really, there is only a kiosk 4. Before new kiosk, near swingers hammocks were n.4, recalled 6 when they were replaced for new. Somebody stuck a sticker over 6 signed number 4 again, probably an old swinger!!!
Some people have sex behind kiosk, but in my opinion is a bit risked cause last year someone uploaded a gay orgy video at the net, it was filmed in 7 or 8 kiosk, I think.
Other people wait to wardens leave dunes (they can fine you because it is a natural space protected). It happens at 2:30pm. It is not for me, but is one option…. |

I heard they went to open from 8 months ago, cause need accomplish formalities of bureaucracy. I think they will ready in a short period of time, but Really I am not sure; and yes, you can be naked in the hammocks area, but not necessarily there. You can be naked from red cros tower nearly kiosk 4 (in Maspalomas area) to Playa del Inglés (in front of Santa Monica hotels), a lot of kilometers for you feel free. Adding dunes area not restricted, most of them in Pdi area. |

Spent the day at the beach today at kiosk 4 (Maspalomas end). It used to be kiosk 6 and is next door to 7. We had a great relaxing day, rented 2 loungers and a parasol for €7.50. We’ve just walked down the beach to PDI end and there is another kiosk 4 (I think the original one). There’s a mixture of nudists, clothed and families there. Didn’t go close to the kiosk so didn’t notice any pissy smell at all! We will spend the day there later in the week as for us it’s much easier to get to and closer to amenities if we want to get off of the beach! |

Kiosk 4 was pretty quite today, the one before it was a bit busier but still not full of naked people
We ended up walking right up to maspa side and it was really busy when you got to the gay part! Was also busy just after that with single and couples!
We enjoyed our first ever time naked together in public around people - absolutely loved it! - didn’t get on to anyone having fun in the dunes tho, we would of loved to on the sun beds!xx |

There may be some fun to be found in the dunes later in the afternoon/early evening but I think they’re patrolled more frequently than they used to be!
The old Kiosk 4 is now Kiosk 6, so you should find plenty of singles and couples around that area.
In terms of your status update, there are a couple of Swinger meeting places in Yumbo but will be more choice in the Cita Centre and clubs there too and also Eden is open tonight and it’s couples only and free entry! Great club located in CC Nilo
Have a great time! |

Nit true, the wardens are rarely there after 2 pm but the police can drive through anytime but we didn't see them regularly |

It is true. Usually Police don’t fine or check the people, but they can do. In my case I prefer don’t staying in the restricted area any time. But there are a lot of people waiting after 2:30pm for going into the area. |
