Jetting out to GC tomorrow - never been there before and would appreciate some tips / advice for a solo female. Where is ok to go, where maybe not to go ..... both in the village and on the beach. Staying near the golf course.

It's ok to be a newbie but not to look like one

Not a solo female, but from what people say it's very safe for them here. There are some smaller clubs that are very friendly and will keep an eye on single women.

If you can find people on the whos near me thread when you get there you could arrange to meet up in the bars

They are all friendly places and you will fit in easily

Been as a solo female. Totally safe waking around pdi at any time.

Great places to eat and drink.
