Weather and Covid? PDI Gran Canaria..

Morning Campers xx
We fly tomorrow from Stansted at 7am (Yippe)
Have our COVID paperwork, have uploaded to Ryanair and completed the Spanish App and received the QR code is anything else needed.
What’s weather like? Our App shows bad air etc is it bad (Missus has asthma hence concern)
In advance thank you.
We are staying at Bull Escorial Spa for 10 days.

We have had some hazy days , where for example the profile of the hills is slightly obscured by what I assume is sand blown by the wind..but today is forecast to be sunny. It's not been bad weather , just not consistent ...

Quick question....we are changing accommodation mid holiday, how does that work regarding the Spanish locator form?? Any info appreciated, as we don't want to fall foul of the Spanish bureaucracy  |

Just give your vaccine cert to each hotel
The airport only checks the spth form and the accomodations only check Covid cert (if they bother) |

Our weather app often shows bad air quality in GC even though we've been in PDI on those days and never found it a problem.
It's possibly connected with the "Saraha Sand' issue when it gets sucked up in the atmosphere and deposits tons of sand over GC. It's called La Calima.
We were there in January when it was particularly bad and people were suffering breathing problems.
We also had four days last week when the sky turned dark yellow and you couldn't go out. That was in Almeria.
You can't do much about it except stay indoors.
Luckily it doesn't happen very often.
