Given that Gran Canaria is going into level 4 restrictions from the 22nd, has anyone here stayed in either resort during a level 4 or have any idea what it means for such resorts in terms of, pool capacity, jacuzzi, dancing and so on. We arrive over in just over 2 weeks but don't want to be overly restricted on a holiday we've put off a few times already. Any info is appreciated |

We stayed at Venus last September, can’t remember what level it was though. Venus is a very laid back (pardon the pun) hotel. Plenty of space around sun beds so you can isolate if you wish!! We’re back 12th-19th February and can’t wait |

We’re back at La Mirage too from the 3rd Feb so would be interested to know too. I’m going to email La Mirage today to find out

We've stayed there before so we're wondering will it be very restricted and if there's any point going at all.
The receptionist just emailed us saying it's only the sauna that's closed but everything in the resort is normal |

When we were there last September, buffet breakfast was swapped for table service. This later returned in the week as it dropped to level 3. Other than this, nothing in the hotel changed.
Outside the hotel, bars must close at midnight and need to reduce capacity indoors.
The beach hasn’t had beds for months, hence Venus is a bit of a haven. The place is perhaps not quite as busy as it might be, but that’s true of everywhere abroad! Still plenty of fun to be had when we went last, but as ever, it’s up to you to make it. |

We were there last year in late August early September and it was level 4 and didn't see much difference only that the clubs/ pubs closed at midnight , la Mirage just asked that no ques at the bar and it worked , other than that it was pretty normal, masks to be worn when going to the bar or anywhere in public .
We are going on the 5th of February and would not cancel because of it going to level 4 . We still had a fabulous holiday and break . Infact we enjoyed the fact we were back early from the clubs as we use to meet others coming back at the same time and had some memorable nights being back early with very little hangovers !
Hope this helps in someway .

We was there in 2020 when it was level 4 and it was perfect holiday. Party in the resort after midnight every night! |

We were in Venus during a level 4 and the main difference was that you were allocated a bed number that you put on the bed of your choice and were to use same bed for the duration of your stay. Think it was more a case of the resort trying to do the right things. Didn't stop the fun though
Biggest difference was a lack of taxis.
We are back again towards end of March, so hope things are back to normal by then but it won't stop us if it isn't. Just means we have to adjust a little

Tilburg from the Netherlands NOT IN |
Under Level 4 restrictions, pubs and restaurants in Tenerife are now subject to a curfew and must close their doors at midnight.
Public transport is also capped at 75% capacity to help minimise the risk of transmission in enclosed spaces.
A maximum of six people are now allowed to meet, either indoors or outdoors, except for those who are part of the same household.
Vaccine passports are needed to gain entry to some indoor venues, including bars, restaurants and gyms, and nightclubs have also been capped at 25% capacity.
Rules also mean that spas, jacuzzis and saunas must close, and outdoor pools can only operate at 33% capacity.
Beaches have a 50% capacity and a “prior appointment” may be needed to visit some venues to avoid overcrowding, according to the tourist boards for the Spanish islands. |

We were also at La Mirage in late August (sorry to have missed you) Holiday of a lifetime! On Day two from those loungers we booked again and are going April 2nd to 10th, and level 4 or not we will be there with knobs on. |
