I realise this has been asked previously but does anyone have any updates on when the kiosks and sunbeds will reopen? Thanks in advance.

It's becoming a joke this now. One of the main draws to PDI is that nudist beach. And of course the sunbeds and the kiosks to support that.

Surely if this is a dispute over unpaid fees between the operator and local authority. Then the council should just brings in a new operator.

If you go down to Annexo 2 that is Playa Del Inglés beach. Turn right on the beach and walk. You will see signs posts on the sand that will say FKK and a distance.

FKK indicates nude area. And that extends round the headland towards Maspalomas.

As of this time, no sunbeds or refreshment bars open. So a towel and drinks. You may be lucky that people are walking in the area selling cold drinks.

Really can't understand why they are delaying these kiosks and beds its a massive draw for these resorts

It may be a question of accuracy. That is to say, the correct brown envelope of just the right thickness needs to end up in just the right hands... perhaps this is what they mean by "outstanding taxes"

Beach is very busy this January despite the lack of beds & kiosks, doesn't appear to be an issue for most

Better be resolved by June !…..otherwise a lot of vanilla couples & families might not appreciate Mrs Luv and I with our ‘bits’ out round the hotel pool

If I wanted to find sunbeds on other beaches in GC where would I need to go?

Foe example; are there sunbeds for hire on the beach at Playa Del Ingles or at the beaches at Amadores and Anfi del Mar?

PDI seems to have the same problems as Maspalomas. Don't know about other places.

On the webcams, you can see them on St Augustin beach and Puerto Rico beach, I doubt there will be nudist bathing, unfortunately.

Its the same local council who I believe have not paid their taxes to the government so Playa Del Ingles is affected the same as Maspalomas. If you go further North to San Augustin they are not affected.

Amadores and Anfi del Mar do have sunbeds, they are unaffected by the dispute which is I believe limited to Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles

Its been going on a while now time to take our money somewhere else and they can stick the beach ,sunbeds and kiosks up their greedy holes.heading to Tenerife instead , isn't it great in these hard times for everyone greed and all the years we supported the commerce in pdi we're the last ones they give a shit about....pity as we always enjoyed the place and met great people there.

We have never used the beds we take a couple of towels, buy a sun umbrella and plenty of water, to keep hydrated. We're not really into laying in line with others

I hope they return for you all, but I doubt it

There are sunbeds with windbreaks further east towards the beaches at San Agustin. Why only there??

Thats why we rent a nice bungalow with private garden and others hotels with a nudist terrace!
