Thus explanation of Level 3 from the Canarian may help explain the restrictions.
The Black Bulldog Bar & Before Bar in Cita along with Eden in Nilo have already put in place the Vaxx Pass so they can operate at level 2 restrictions rather than level 3.
I expect other bars and clubs who are vaxxed to follow suit.

Not sure about the Bulldog but Before Bar will accept digital when they reopen after Christmas.
I think digital reading will be the norm.
Just hope we don’t go back to previous severe restrictions. |

"We will accept digital and paperwork. A scan of the QR code is needed to tell if it's correct or not. "
Scrap this. Digital copy of the QR is the way forword. If you only have a paper copy you have to bring it AND ID to confirm it's your certificate. |

Shove those green/segregation passes back up where they came from!! I’m a Spanish national and ive let everywhere I go out to know I’ll not be illegally discriminated nor exempted from my fundamental liberty, not one establishment has yet to find a reason for me not to enter when I’m contributing to their finances. If we ALL had this approach they’d have to scrap them since establishments run off our consumption |

Be seeing people at my own apartment, on the dunes & in Yumbo/all over PDI or maspalomas I’d guarantee it. Having fun & access to bars isn’t limited to the sheep pass.

Right , building it up. Through your natural defences, an immune system. Each booster is deteriorating your fighting ability against illness. Imagine charging your phone every minute it falls below a 50% battery. Eventually the original battery no longer works how it did, so why will dependence on vaccines that still contract virus from others and don’t prevent from illness/death work any different to your long term defence. |

Why do people blame the bar/nightlife for working with covid certificate as this is the only way to stay open for us!!!!
Here in Tenerife the same but luckily 99% of our guests don't make any problems of this, showing and scanning there certificate as they all say the same.....they feel safer...
Don't start the conspiracy discussion as we are all past that by now .... These people are the minority!
The only thing we want as a business is to survive this pandemic and try to recuperate from it ...

" Each booster is deteriorating your fighting ability against illness. "
That's about as daft as saying that each time a marathon runner goes for a training run then they're decreasing their natural running ability.
Boosters are a training session for your immune system. They make it better and stronger for a while. But you need to keep on doing it if you want to keep the benefit.
Fortunately, not as often as you need to go for a run! |

Its times like this that you realise how stupid some people can be.
The clown earlier that claims the vaccine reduces the bodies natural ability to fight the virus.
I wonder if he takes an aspirin when he has a headache. After all , it may reduce his bodies healing ability.
Would he take medication to treat an STI ? Most anti vaxxers are young and healthy. In the 1914 1918 epidemic they were the ones affected most and not the elderly.
I imagine the younger ones took it more seriously then.

In the 1920s mate, think we’ve come a very long way in understanding Health since then, apart from the mass sedentary and glutinous society we’ve got. Oh and I’m sure if it were deadly to the scale mass hysteria and panic is the young people would be affected now as they were back then. Or maybe this virus is one of mass psychosis & it’s clearly proven our society are hooked on quick remedy fixes such as aspirin and any sort of pills your doctor can get you yet cancers, metal induced poisons & depressions have all been overwhelmingly on the rise in these last 100 years. I wonder what has happened to actual health standards |

The way the mass majority (Same group of new science and health warriors that spend every night infront of Netflix with smokes, beers & Doritos in hand) are crying their eyes out at the tiniest bit of critical thinking and are citing examples of running long distance yet you don’t even exercise once a week looking at your profile pictures & age groups.
Just admit the government tricked you into thinking being good little sheep and taking your monthly top ups is your only hope for the last 2 years; not having been completely wasted and in fact deceived by your BJs, Matt Hancock’s & Dom Cumming’s, Jacob H Rees. |

Average life expectancy at birth in 1900 (world average) was 31 to 32.
In 2020 it was 72-73.

We have been here about 10 days so far..
It feels far safer here... Not looking forward to going back tbh lol
So tip
If you have the NHS app (not the track and trace one).. generate the Travel QR code then screen grab it .. you can then show this in the bars etc without needing internet access.
We printed them off but haven't used them as they say ID is also required.. the direct phone method is way better and there is no way we are taking passports out with us.
It's all easy stuff...
Good luck to those yet to come out |

Flying on the 26th and still hopeful.
It wouldn't surprise me if the Spanish start asking for pre departure tests, we will lat flow anyway before travel, but still very hopeful that the flight will go and we will be on it. |

Spain has signalled it's intentions not to change regulations before Christmas but the current rules expire on 31 December and you can expect Omicron to be factored in to whatever replaces them.
That said the Canaries don't always follow what Spain does and tend to hand the bureaucratic burden of checking Covid tests over to the hospitality sector. We may see a reintroduction of needing a test on check-in. Should this happen then they tend to let you go out for a test as long as you stay isolated till you get your results.
Again for those who don't know this, there is testing available at Las Palmas airport, which in our experience is cheaper than in town, more efficient and less of a wait provided you booked your test online. |

Again for those who don't know this, there is testing available at Las Palmas airport, which in our experience is cheaper than in town, more efficient and less of a wait provided you booked your test online.
PCR or Lat flow?"
They do antigen (£29.17), antibody (€35), PCR(€70) and Quick PCR (€95)
San Roque Hospital Maleneros were charging €40 for LFT and €140 for a PCR.
Also worth noting is that we have a number of holidays coming up now and in January and many of the non-hospital labs close down for holidays. It's a good idea to find out when the holidays are, Three Kings being one of them. |

Forgive me if I missed it already in this thread but it’s rather long to read.
At current restriction levels I’m haooy with showing my NHS covid pass as have been doing here in UK for late venues. Is that acceptable there?
Also are clubs operating as normal? Or closing early and no play etc?

"We’ll done mate. Us too. If they want our money they’ll let us in. How many times do you have to be jabbed before they realise ‘it doesn’t frecking work’
sorry for my tone as well guys not attacking anybody’s choices or preferences in these forums, we have to be United and not fighting amongst each other. But how many times do you have to forego freedom for “science” (pharma/medical monopolies) to realise?
That's your opinion. I have had covid and know people who have died.
Building up your bodies immune system to fight any illness is a great defence. Would rather have a fighting chance than no chance.
Is there any chance you could put a link up from a reputable source that backs up ANYTHING that you have stated
Start with the phone battery one but make sure it’s up to date as the ones your talking about went out of production about 10 years ago |
