Message from the owner of El Sofa and ´The Swing´ Swingers club in Benidorm
I would like to clear a few things up here!
El Sofa closed down in April 2019 because of Covid and has reopened in January 2022 at a new location (check their website) in the heart of town near the beach. It is incomparable to the old place. It's almost 4 times bigger, everything is brand new and the interior is simply smashing. It's still the place to watch adult movies but it's much more like a club now. Most of the public is bi/gay but as it is a far nicer place now you'll see more couples too! It indeed is open 365 days a year from noon onwards. https://SexCinemaBenidorm.com/
Now lets move on to: 'The Swing' Swingers Club Benidorm.
'The Swing' is a brand new swingers club and is located at the same premises but is a different business. There are public and private rooms, large beds, a darkroom, a sling, tons of glory holes, showers, a bar with food and drinks etc. It is open at night only but not just on Saturdays! Depending on the time of the year / the number of tourists, ‘The Swing’ may be open only 1 night a week or every single night! There is a calendar on their website with all opening dates. In case it gets unexpectedly busy certain dates may colour 'green' instead of 'red' at the last moment. If in doubt drop them a line through their contact page, a reply is 100% guaranteed! Yes it is an actual bar and I'm sure a few from here do sometimes hang out there.
However it is a very large showbar with live music (mostly tributes) and on a busy night will have a few hundred people inside. Of those maybe a handful will be swingers, or maybe not.
A few from here have used it for meets over the years (usually around the back bar) but to call it a swinger hangout would be really stretching it. |

Forgot to mention we will be up in Benidorm for a weekend either 1st/2nd April or 8th/9th.
Will give the new club (El Sofa/The swing) a go on the Saturday night.
On the Friday you might even find us lurking around the back bar in Cafe B. |

Cafe Benidorm (Cafe B) is at the top of what's known as the "British Square" On the corner of Calle Lepanto.
For the "back bar" it's better to use the small door on Lepanto directly opposite the Hotel Orange. You can still enter from the square and walk through to it though.. |

The Costa Blanca always has a bit of a rainy season in the spring. Some years it can come later in May, other years it can come early like this year.
Sometimes it can be over and done in a week or so, other times it can stick around for a fortnight or more. But it comes every year at some point.
The forecast is giving it unsettled for at least the next week or so.
