Venus star nude policy

... we are looking at booking Venus star but have some concerns over the policy of being naked.

We are both comfortable with being naked on sun beds by the pool ... however we are not really sure that we want to be naked walking around.

The mrs preference is some sexy lingerie or swimwear... is this allowed? ... thinking in particular the BBQ events. Is it still compulsory to be naked?

..

All in all a little confusing , is it trying to be a naturist resort or a swinging resort.?

Any information would be fantastic.

We are looking at 27th nov for 4 nights as a possibility ... or just a day pass ( then rest of hols vanilla)

Hi

So at Venus Star you have to be naked while around the pool etc. Some people wrap a towel or sarong around themselves to walk to and from the bar for example, but the policy is nude. And when everyone is nude it's not a massive thing.

I'm not sure about the evenings though. I think some dress sexy for dinner or drinks etc but haven't stayed there so can't comment for sure.

Unless you're cold, in the bar/restaurant/office it's more convenient to be naked, of course you can dress sexy dress for happy hour but if you walk around with clothes on during the day you'll just draw attention to yourself and others will think your staff!

Every time we have been, people tend to dress for the restaurant at breakfast and evenings. If just popping to the bar then naked or a towel/sarong seems to be the norm. It is mainly beds and pool area that is a naked requirement.

We dressed for the actual BBQ ie to sit & eat but the remainder of the time everyone was naked, I think it would feel awkward for others if some were naked and others were dressed (or at least I feel awkward in a naked venue when others are in outfits)

If you don't want to be naked walking around you can just slip on a sarong. Most people don't but no one will judge you

At the barbecue some men pop on shorts to eat and women sarongs or little slip dress. Others just sit on a towel.

You dress to use the restaurant.

For evening Happy hour at the pool bar, some ladies dress up sexily.

Enjoy your stay and don't worry, it's a very relaxed place

Just come back from spending a week there...

Most naked but there are all shapes and sizes with no one giving a second glance.

Some people wore sarongs etc with no eyes batted.

The vibe when staying is totally different to the BBQs (we have done both)...

Staying is sooooooo much better and more chilled...

You will enjoy it.

Don't sweat the naked thing... Honestly it's fine

We will be booking again for next year
