At the moment you need to have a PCR test booked for day 2 on return. That may change soon. England are doing away with it from Oct30 with only the cheaper lateral flow one reqd. we may follow ? |

We are going 26th and return on the 6th Nov. We won't book a PCR until after the 30th to see what happens with Scotland.
You only need the proof of you pcr booking to put on your homeward bound QR code form 48 hrs before leaving to come home |

"We're headin out early Jan. What is the QR code you are talking about?
We have paper copies of proof of double vax. xx"
QR Code can be found and downloaded from here https://www.nhsinform.scot/nhs-scotland-covid-status
Paper copy is also acceptable. |

Be aware that there are 2 QR codes.
1) QR code that accompanies your vac cert.
2) this is the QR code that is reqd for entry into Spain. It is the SpTH app.
It is the equivalentof the one you need to fill out to come back home.
Hope that helps. |

'Testing and vaccination requirements for arrivals from the UK
The Spanish government requires all arrivals to Spain from the UK (excluding children under the age of 12 years old) to present on entry one of the following:
documentation certifying that you have undertaken a COVID-19 nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT - e.g. PCR, TMA, LAMP or NEAR) within 72 hours prior to arrival in Spain and tested negative. Antigen tests can only be used in certain limited circumstances (as outlined in section ‘k’ of the ‘Entry requirements for entry in Spain from third countries’ on the Spanish Ministry of Health ‘Travel and COVID-19’ page) and are not accepted if you are travelling from the UK to Spain for tourism purposes (see Reason for travel to Spain below for further information)
or
proof of being fully vaccinated (with both doses of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a one-dose vaccine) at least 14 days prior to arrival in Spain (date(s) of vaccination must be specified), with a vaccine authorised by the European Medicines Agency or by the World Health Organisation.
Spain will accept the UK’s COVID-19 vaccination record.

Not sure who you are referring to but the answer is you do not need a test going out if you are double jabbed. You will need proof though, and also filled out a SpTH to enter Spain.
Coming back you will need the UK equivalent and also a ref number/code showing you have booked your day 2 test similar to what you done in Sept. Difference being that from the 24th only a LFT is reqd as opposed to a PCR |

It's the 22nd October for England, are the other nations the same ?"
You can book them from the 22nd, they do not come into force until the 24th.
It is only England at the moment.
